Im done with the lottery. Im keeping the rest of my winnings and running. I walked into a small mom and pop store earlier today and they have a vending machine for tix. They are able to access the machine themselves to re-stock the games if ticket sell out. I have seen this happen at 7-11's also ... Anyways, I stop in today to grab a sandwich, and they had the machine open, re-stocking whatever games were out. I happened to notice inside a LOT of books piled up inside. I asked the owner why he had so many in there, and he just said "storage". I then asked him if he had ANY old games in there...
The results?...
4 books of SM.
1 book of 50x cash
6 books of Kings Ransom
and......... are you ready for this one?...............
2 books of 100x the cash. No lie. Cant make this stuff up. He told me that his rep never even looks inside the machine, and just takes the books that he keeps in a box under the register when he comes in.... This blew my mind.
How many of these stores with this kind of thing are there?!?!? There are THOUSANDS of stores around the state that are off the beaten trail. Are these places just forgotten about? NONE of these books are on ANY of the list's I have seen. Not just recent list, but ANY list I have seen since last April.
How the hell long have these books just been sitting there?
I only had a chance to glance at 3 of the SM books to see the numbers, and even at that I only got the first few digits..
29xx yes.. 2900.
314xxx
and
339xxx
I really shouldnt be surprised by this. When I went to the main office in Tallahassee, not 1 person that I encountered seem to have an education higher then maybe highschool. No wonder there is no accountability with them.
Im finished until they get some kind of quality control.
