This was a nice surprise from AK Kwik. Aside from this nice win, the rest of the book paid out the minimum $245/$600. It just goes to show the randomness of the bigger winners. So, $1245/$600 return.

Posted this on the other thread, meant it for here. Got confuzled.
Had a fire night tonight. Started with a $50 winner my son scratched on a $2 GRD. Then we were like "let's go". Next was a $100 that he also scratched on a $2 Electric 8's. haven't seen many around so I bought the last 70 they had. Won about $180 back.
Next we tried the $1 GRD. Low and behold, another $100 winner and a $20, both he scratched.
At this point, I taught him the vauluable lesson of knowing when to quit when you are ahead.
Side note, I got hot on $10 GRD. Hit 4 straight winners, 006-009. $65, nothing huge. But one was a $30, which isn't a minimum payout prize on a full book, as the odds are 1:75. Book has 60. So I'm wondering if this is a hot roll, and I should go there in the morning and stay on them. Or if that was it, it prolly won't payout anything. This one has me all confuzled.

@FloridaWinner and Dracos: Nice wins. Dracos, you can buy tickets one at a time at AKs to use the winnings to fuel more purchases. In the past, I've done that to avoid laying $600 out at once. If you hit a $200 or $500 prize (or even a few $100s), that can get you through two books or more as long as you get a few small wins to keep you going.
On a side note, I have tried to buy some of the $20 Flamingo tickets and that game keeps kicking my ass. I know that a $5M prize is due relatively soon, I'm just tired of buying tickets and getting nothing. There is a local gas station that I've been buying one every other day. It seems like nobody else buys that game because I have tickets 1 through 8 (I missed 0). All losers.

@ Numb3rs - Glad to hear you and your son had a really nice return. I like the Electric 8s ticket, although it sucks to scratch.
@ Ronnie - You beat the odds of 1-in-25714.29. 1 in 25.7k tickets = 1 in 172 books basically. Congratz, that's an incredible win on a $2 ticket!
@ Gators - Sorry to hear about $20 Flamingo sucking. It is very similar to SM in that the $245/$600 books are common. If you encountered 8 losers in a row, the middle or end of the book should pick up. Just curious, do you know the book range? I've seen $20 Flamingo books go up to 846k in South FL. In Gainesville, the highest I've seen was 814k. It ought to be reaching the end of the print soon. I think it is 95-96% sold through at this point, so it is definitely the game to play.
Kelly's Kwik Stop has two SM books in the 7k range (super low), and a 2MJ in the 20k range. They were trying to persuade me to play through the SM book because games are usually "hot" when they first come out. They also told me the Tallahassee District Manager stopped by their stop a week or so ago. Seems a bit odd. I basically broke even thanks to the $1k win from the book buying I did yesterday with a tiny bit of profit maybe. I'm debating between finishing through those SM books to see if there's anything decent, although, with how low the book numbers are on that...I'd rather just buy random $20 Flamingo tickets. At least we know there's a $5M, and two $1M prizes remaining. I feel like those low SM books could yield something like a $200 or $500 winner, maybe a claim ticket if very lucky, but essentially I'd be playing for the $20k and under prizes...which is an expensive proposition where the odds are truly bad considering the average payout is $245/$600 on that game. I remember buying a HG book in the 2k and 7k range and getting a $600+ return. Then again, far too small of a sample size haha.

@ FloridaWinner
Yes, I have a question. Are you always this angry? Your yellow emoji appears to be flipping the bird to everyone and the purple guy next to him looks miserable. I hope you find some bigger winners in your scratch-offs soon and post some happier emojis.

I also keep getting my rear handed to me with the $20 Flamingos, ugh! Most I've won on the $2 GRD is $10. Just can't get a break. Anybody still playing the $20 GR?

jasefan, more often than not I've noticed winners either at the start of the roll, or end, and winners seem to be concentrated on odd numbers. Early, odd numbers, or late, odd numbers. Like 000, 003, 017, 019, or 027. You've been scoring some $50's I've noticed on the new $2 Scratchers. That's cool, I would imagine you have been playing with house money for awhile!

Congrats ronkenneth88 !!! I hope you will post a picture of that winner for odds wise, that is one of the most impressive wins in a long time. I buy those tickets for my mom and dad who are approaching 80 and still love scratch-offs :)....they get so excited when they hit a $50 which is hard enough. Great win!

@gatorsrok - Hello there! I have played the $20 Flamingo game pretty hard since December. My experience is that the game is as brutal as Super Millons. You will find pack after pack of minimum payout $245/$600....its soul crushing sometimes unless you have a strong stomach and deep pockets...lmao....and then there are the rare but wonderful times you find a hot pack or two and get $2750 back or $2550 and your spirits rise as does your confidence. The game is fun for me and presents a formidable challenge in my quest to someday scratch off a jackpot ticket. I am older, own a small business with my wife for many years and can afford to blow a bunch of money in my search, but overall i would suggest players take an occasional shot at this game and only buy a few tickets at a time...that is just my honest opinion and below are the losers from well over 200 full packs banded in groups of 50 (makes counting $1000 per band easy) and they are stacked in a decent size canon toner box that holds 4 stacks of 20 bands high so here is 80k in losers....I actually beat the posted odds and found 4-$1k's and more 500-400-200-150 and 100's than the posted odds however i still only managed an average return of $380 per pack which costs $600 (30 tickets @ $20 each). Just goes to show you in no uncertain terms that unless lightning strikes and you find a $5k-$20k in one of the packs your gonna get your rear end handed to you like i did when buying lots of full packs. This public service announcement brought to you by a player the florida lottery loves very much :)
