For anyone playing the $20 Flamingo game, the FL Lottery posted a picture of the most recent $1M winning ticket. This is extremely helpful information for targeting book numbers as we now have seen 19/20 of the $1M prizes claimed and can deduce where some of the book skipping occurred and infer that the final $1M prize should be in the 800k+ range.
It was on book number 741400. Right in the range I predicted. With the last $1M prize being in the 780k and seeing that gap between the 700k and mid range, that's around the sweet spot of where I thought it would be.
For anyone playing this game, the highest $1M was claimed in the 780k range, and the highest $5M in the low 600k range. The $5M prizes are supposed to have large gaps, we saw quite the irregularity in grouping with the 555k and 602k. With that small gap, I'd predict a larger gap for that final $5M prize (aim for the 800k+ range.) We've seen books go up to 846xxx. My personal prediction is that the final $1M and $5M prize will turn up in the 820k-840k range. I didn't use any math, this is all "guesstimation" based on the gaps of all the previous $1M prizes and $5M prizes. I will post the winning book numbers if someone feels like doing math and estimating, but this is all obviously speculation. A very wide range, but if I were playing the $20 Flamingo game, that's where I would be targeting. Most Publix stores carry books in that range. Old food/corner stores tend to have the books in the 700k range, and quite frankly there's no reason to play through those at this point unless someone wants to play for a chance to win up to $20k. =p
* Disclaimer - This isn't in the order that they were claimed.

Hi James,
It is nice to see you back on this post. Congratulations on your casino win. I am sorry to hear about the scratch tickets being so bad. I live in Texas, and it is not much better here. I am trying to play $5 and $10 scratch offs and if I win something, I buy the $20 tickets. I have spent way too much money and not getting anything in return. The biggest winner I have seen is a lady I know won $10,000 two weeks ago on an old $20 ticket. Take care and I hope you have another big win soon.

You guys aren't going to believe the talk i just had with a district rep while at a district office.... I asked for the location list for 50x the cash and she started telling me i was crazy and foolish to chase older games. I was polite and made small talk and then she dropped the bomb on me.... She says.....
"Why do you think games go on the ending games list? You do know that when we close a retailer, we shred all open books right? And we only end a game WHEN ALL TOP PRIZES ARE ACCOUNTED FOR".
Right when she said it, i could tell she regretted saying it. She actually looked over her shoulder to make sure no one heard her.
I immediately asked her if that meant that the lottery knows when they destroy a jackpot. She literally wouldn't answer me. She thought about it for a second then said
"We know when a jackpot ticket is sold the second it's sold, between that and other info, we know when they are all gone and end a game accordingly"....
They know when they destroy a jackpot ticket. They do NOT update the site when one is destroyed.. Probably because people will start looking online for the winner, when there isn't one.

@ EMTAdam - I pray this isn't true and the lady simply made a huge mistake. Seriously! If i ever find out that the lottery knows when they destroy a jackpot ticket and can prove it via email or taping a conversation, etc. I will organize a class action suit that will rock the lottery world. This means that 100X the Cash appeared to end with a $5M prize and 4 - $1M prize remaining but really did not have ANY jackpot tickets left when they were selling full books like crazy the full 6 months prior to the game ending last June. I knew they shred books from a closed retailer but was told many times they have no idea if those books contained a jackpot. I was also told only the ticket manufacturer had that info and the lottery only had knowledge of where all the books are but not where the jackpots are for that would lead to simple collusion amongst reps and retailers and friends of the lottery reps or whomever has that knowledge buying all the books at a certain retailer. Think about it....if someone within the lottery knew where a jackpot ticket book was they certainly would have friends or family purchase that book from the retailer. I find this very difficult to stomach and hope its an error on behalf of whomever told you this Adam.

I don't think the lottery knows where the jackpot tickets are ahead of time. I think when they collect the open books, they bring them to the office/ destruction place and right before they are shredded they are scanned out of the system and their terminal tells them if a jackpot ticket is being destroyed. She flat out told me that even if jackpots show as remaining and the game is on the ending games list DO NOT PLAY IT.

Me and gators discussed this. That they potentially do have a secondary database with all correct information. And while I consider she could be right (or likely is), I also consider that she's just making assumptions or passing on things she believes to be true. Most reps I've spoken to are surprised when I mention some things that I know are 100% true, but that they weren't aware of, sort of like surprised that they hadn't been told that before. I've met some that didn't even know you could get an ILR or other info on a game.
Also that is not the only case for when a game ends as I'm near certain the $2 HG is not sold through - when I checked some months back it was only 60% sold and nearly nobody carried it.
I disagree that they know "when" a jackpot ticket is sold. They can guess and assume, but they cannot literally know when a ticket is sold. I have a store that has had the same books of lesser played games (think $2 Gridiron, Ruby Riches) activated for a month or two at a time. The only way they could guess when a ticket is sold is when the book is settled by the retailer, or if a winning ticket is claimed before and after in a roll where a jackpot exists. (Like if ticket #50 is a jackpot and a winner on #45 and #55 are claimed).
Regardless whether she's right or not, they're still being unethical. Either:
A) They know when they destroy a jackpot and are intentionally deceiving the public in not updating the records.
or
B) They're intentionally not keeping records of destroyed tickets.
EDIT cause I had an afterthought:
Wouldn't this also imply that 50x had a top prize remaining all this time, and does anyone who's really looked through the ILR remember seeing any larger prize claimed since the report was first asked for last year?

Regarding the part about lottery knowing where books are and the printer knowing what books contain what - this is what I've come to understand and it makes complete sense to avoid any potential ability for an insider to game the system. But, I've also had a rep tell me that a few top level employees at lottery do have access to both sides of it. Whether he was right or guessing, I could not say.

Uhh.. I just realized I should include that I don't think people should play ending games either, at least not in any significant amount. I just disagree with a couple of her claims is all.

Are we missing this?? If she is correct which we don't know for certain that would mean that $3 million dollar millionaire or whatever still has a jackpot out there somewhere since it isn't on the ending list...
