that was the $30 game that was - a really FUN game with overall odds 2.43 - 5 ways to play - not just those lame boring numbers to scratch. I cleaned up on this $30 game - if we had it now you wouldn't wind up with those awful losing rolls from 100X ...voice your concerns to the lottery people and let's get this game back.
This has over 2000 prizes of $20K ................ 100X has ONLY 540 !!!! What's your take now ?
Plus it had a $20M top prize .... not $15M like 100X

Does anyone know the min payout for GR 1249, I have a chance to buy 4 books Wed morning. I think with the game at 96.7% it's where I should pony up. The owner has 3 books in safe, and another owner down the road can order me unlimited (I looked at his store print-out), I am thinking to take it all. I've been to my usual places and MOST don't even carry the game.
On a side note, same owner above, I bought a pack of Cash Reserve. He had 3 more in the safe. 6 of 16 top prizes still out there and nobody around here is selling the game. I've had a buddy hit 10k not long ago in Polk Co.

@James - I'm avoiding the 100X. Based on the results posted here, that seems like a good idea. My thoughts are that the $20 $600M Gold Rush is the best game with the WCC as a good runner-up. The $20 $10K L4L may be due in a month or so as well.
@TikiMan - the minimum payout on the $600M Gold Rush is $245 ($50 + $40 + $30 + $25 + (5 x $20)).
@skeptic - yes the old $600M High Roller was at least fun to play. I never got any major prizes but at least it kept you entertained.

Are there supposed to be a decent amount of 100k's left on the old GR (1249) ?
there is 7 $100k prizes left on 96.11% sold.
BTW I have not explored this further but on the new 100X game there are more prizes in the instant liability report vs the emergency rules.
ALSO I asked the fl lottery about getting pool breakdown info.... They wont release it... SO they know exactly where everything is.... I'm thinking about asking for an old game and see what happens.

What do you all think...
I can't speak to what you should or should not do, but both of those games I can find fairly easily around here. It may just be that your local stores choose not to carry them.

This is not just the fact they wont carry it, they pulled it to make room for the new $5 games.
I'm going to gobble up books of cash reserve, and books of GR 1249 tomorrow as that is the focus right now.
I'm going hard on GR 1249.
I'm going for books. If the information from you all is accurate, there are enough big pots with 800k tickets floating.
As a side note, I bought some [$2] $ 30,000. Luck Win, and hit symbol $100 cash. On a $10 investment.
I guess what I was getting at, especially with Cash Reserve, is that they're not in short supply. A store may not have room for it, but FL Lotto isn't running out of them.
Cash Reserve in particular, with 6 grand prizes left, they're sitting on a ton of books and could end up like Winning Streak. Winning Streak had 9 of 20 grand prizes left since September of 2016, until a couple of days ago when 1 of them was won. Cash Reserve was averaging close to 2 per month from it's release, until June and then another prize wasn't hit until December.
Gold Rush 1249 I can't speak for as much, I follow the $20+ games a little less, but I know the Publix stores I go to carry it as well as 5 different gas stations between here and my main Publix. It has great odds at $500 though. My downside with this one is that it is 3.5 years old, which in my opinion increases the chances that more of the prizes showing remaining on the ILR are actually gone because of books being destroyed.
If you're really curious about games in short supply, ask a gas station attendant you're friends with to print up the list of orderable games. Take that list and compare it to the games on the remaining prizes page. Any that are on the remaining prizes page, but not on the orderable games list, are running low or near their end of life.
Personally for $5 games, using the same strategy you are, I've been focusing on the $5 Holiday game when I'm not buying Full of $500s. It shows 2 of the grand prizes left, hasn't been orderable for a while, and fewer stores are carrying it. I realize a lot of books were destroyed and it's quite possible neither of those prizes still exist, but that's my trade off for better odds.
Your strategy may be great, and it may succeed, I have no way of knowing. I'm just trying to provide as much information as possible that I know to be true so you can make the best decision for yourself.
