just noticed something - 100X $10 game already gave up 23 $100, 000 prizes in 5 weeks - 77 left - that's almost 5 a week !
the odds for winning $100K are 400,800 to one.
$30 FRM has 155 $1M prizes with a lot better odds to win $1M than 100X's $100K .......but the total payouts are way different
100X has $302,657 total payout - $30 FRM has $969, 536 total payout - about 3 times as much - FRM should last a lot longer than 100X - but I'm curious to
see how many $1M wins FRM kicks out and how often - from the odds standpoint you would think FRM would have more and quicker top wins than 100X - but
the total payout of 3 times would stretch the $1M frequency wins over a longer period of time.
Hi Skeptic, finally been able to think on the points you raised recently. On the earlier one about distribution of FRM $1M prizes, the raw math would indeed point to about 1 top prize per every 83 agents. But like you mention with book counts that raw number is made a lot more complex by the fact that some locations sell tons more tickets than others, so predicting where remaining prizes may be located based on claims to date will I think be difficult. Take for example there are 67 counties in Fl...I'd wager that though there are 155 top prizes there will be several counties (likely rural ones) in which none of the 155 are sold. Time will tell, and either way it will for sure be interesting to see the distribution of prizes as they come in!
On the new 100X, it looks like the ticket sales in the first five weeks have been very strong!...approaching 25% sold according to my rough math (I will be away from my computer and thus any real number crunching until next Monday). That sales rate is very impressive given the game's start with 334 pools. So the rate of 100K claims is consistent with overall sales (like the top prize being 25% claimed at 2 of 8. Like Dracos points out the 2nd chance is likely driving some sales, and I know for a fact the new #X series has had lots of TV ads too. For these reasons reasons I'd be surprised if the new FRM has sales rates approaching the 100X, not to mention knowing there's people who categorically will simply not buy a $30 ticket. If the game lasts a year (which would be pretty brisk given sales rates of other $30 tickets) we could expect an average of 3 $1M per week (155 divided by 52). Of course there will be some weeks with more and other weeks with less...not to mention the missed prizes...there's bound to be some misses with this game since unless it's in the Bonus Box a $1M prize can only be won with a number match.

I played a bit today. I didn't do well on the new $30 game, but came out ahead thanks to a $500 on Gold Rush 000 from AK Kwik in Gainesville. AK Kwik also has about 8-10 books of the old holiday Gold rush. I was shocked to see it around. Look at the list of books, and when they received them. Perhaps sitting in a warehouse. Shocked to see such low book numbers still in existence.
I notice, no $1Ms claimed on the new $30 game. It is going to be hard resisting those seeing no top prizes claimed yet.
Yes, this is a super lottery retailer. For anyone feeling nostalgic and wanting to play this holiday themed Gold Rush, AK Kwik's Stop in Gainesville on NW 6th street has plenty in stock. They actually carry hundreds of books of tickets...

Hi Dracos, really great to see the 'ole $20 GRC deliver on a nice win for you!! Knowing how often the 10X x $2 shows up on that game uncovering that second 10X must have been awesome!
Also, that's truly amazing about the red tickets showing up. There's some pretty low book numbers listed there for sure, like that book #2,145 would be from the very first "pool" (presuming they are structured in order of lowest to highest book #). Looking at the remaining prizes, I'd be surprised if a big one was among the old holiday reds, but it does look like some prize levels like $500 are under-claimed, so perhaps there's some gold bars to be had among those?!! 🤔
Also, everyone, looks like the first FRM $1M claim is in the works...as I write this the Lotto site shows one of the 155 prizes claimed (but details say "processing")...no doubt more to come

Nice way to start on the new $30 ticket Falster. I've bought about 8 so far, but my best win was $100 and a pair of $30 wins. I'll play it until some of those $1M prizes start popping.
