Would you consider spending over $10 million on a home?

I would consider one in San Francisco. What a nice area for hiking, biking and boating.

Ronnie in San Fran? I would sooner believe Thrifty spent a grand on lottery tickets last night.

I would start off with a nice million dollar home with lots of privacy and high end finishes. If my team of advisers do an excellent job over time with nurturing my investments then in a drunken stupor I may consider spending that much on a home.

      Servants....property taxes.... maintenance.... electricity bills...

Too much moo la to spend for a place just to shave, sh!t, and shower

More like maybe 10 million on several homes thru out my life time. 10 mil on one home is a bit excessive .

                      Hi Ronnie316,

Would never consider that much money on a home if I won a jackpot. I'd like a condo or a small home but would keep myself on a budget.

Heck yeah you seen some of the homes in Dupont registry?? Now personally the only place I could spend that kind of money on a home is in beautiful Miami...maybe NYC if I could stand to be in that place for more than 15 minutes

No. People forget that there is an ongoing cost of buying a big house like that namely utilities, property tax and maintenance. Those cost could significantly add up to bite a big chunk of your money. Not to mention your headache. I may move to a nicer apartment but I definitely won't buy a 10 million dollars home.
