For those who play both Mega Millions and Powerball, when it comes to the Megaplier or Powerplay do you play one or the other, both, or neither.

Looking at results it appears very few people play them.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

      Both.

But I'm gettin' tired of it. Neither one of 'em really pays Jack unless you get 4 + 1 anyway.

And it seems like everytime I get something on MM, the Megaplier is 2X.

Think I'm gonna cut 'em aloose.

I played the PowerPlay on every ticket until the price went up, but now I never play it on either Megamillion or PowerBall.

Same here. I usualy will use the extra buck for the local pick 5, but every once in awhile I'll play the added feature.

I sometimes spend the extra buck and I sometimes dont. I sometimes don't even play at all.

I used to play both all the time, then quit. Last week I bought powerplay and megaplier , don't really know why. Now I'm back to just one line without the extra.

Texas Lotto just started a similar feature, paying an extra buck to increase the secondary prizes, and they will payout $2 for matching 2 numbers when a player plays the "extra". I'm going to try it for the next few draws.
