The biggest odds I ever overcame was when I was about 17 years old. That's eons ago, lol

I flicked a cigarette butt towards a row of hedges at the High School where we hung out on the steps, on the sides of the school, and partied all night long.

The cigarette butt flipped around a bunch of times and landed straight up, erect, resting on the filter. My jaw dropped.

I firmly believe that, had I attempted to replicate such a rare event like this by flicking the butt every five seconds from that point on until It landed on the filter upright, I'd still be trying some 30 years later. lol

Just a note, many other instances after this event made this one look like child's play.

All I can say Is to imagine a multiple of my last example hand in hand. Meaning one event like that above and another event similar 30 seconds later. That should take it into the billions cause each one by itself is into the millions, imagine million times a million.

I match 5 of 7 numbers in Loto 7 here in Japan.  About 1:10, 295,472 odds

... ehh the pay out is a little more than 10,000....YEN so only about 100 $

.... Jackpot is only 4million and only goes up to 8 million [capped] It be nice if it kept rolling but NONE of the games do that here. ... Tax free though...so....still can live comfortably.

1:10, 295,472 odds to win about $100?  Dang ... that is some terrible odds!  What are the Jackpot odds for the game that you are playing?

            1/54,201 to match 5/6 in Ohio's Classic Lotto(6/49) to win $1500.

...Of course, I don't know what it means to have a $100 in your hand in Japan.  It doesn't mean too much in the U.S.

..no it does not mean much either.

Yeah...well I think that is the odds for jackpot....to get anywhere from 4million-8million

the way its broken down is instead of 1:an the odds it would be like 100:an the odds...

                 WHATEVER!

Just wish it would rollover passed 8million an not be capped. Also the lotteries run on Pari-mutual (I GUESS thats how you say that) You know your not guarenteed any prize amount just based on sells.
