What Age is "too old" to even consider 20-30 year PB or MM jackpot payments?

I have not decided yet which one is better because I have family that is young so I want this money to last me and them too.  So I have not decided which one is better cash up front or annuity but if I ever get lucky it would be a good headache to have to deal with I think.-weshar75

Lump sum for sure but if I had to get the annuity, my cut off age would be 90 years old. I fully intend to live to be 120 years old and to be able to collect every single annuity check. Of course what we intend to happen and what might actually happen may end up being two very different things.....

Thing is- when you buy the farm, you don't have the luxury of seeing how your money is being preserved or squandered.

I think it's up to the person. Given the choice I would take the lump sum.
