The silence tells me that it is not a group ticket that won. It must be one guy.

nah, the silence tells me the winners are a lottery pool made up of really talented mimes.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if the winner lost the ticket & it went unclaimed?

Has anyone come forward in the recent powerball jackpot??? Well whom ever won is doing the right move by not coming forward so soon and consulting lawyers and etc!

Florida Lottery twitter feed as of May 24th has not come forward.

            They can & they do.

How do you make it impossible for strangers to find out where you live?

I want to know. I haven't won the lottery but I want to know how you do that even if I never won the lottery.

There are a variety of options available to shield the true identity of a home owner. Many individuals with investment properties choose to deed their property under an LLC which is not a bad idea.

My husband and I prefer using a land trust. The benefits are countless as it not only limits your vulnerability from lawsuits it is also a great tool for estate planning. Judgement and liens (including IRS liens) do not attach to a land trust. An owner can live in multiple states yet only needs a trustee to sign and execute documents.

When selling property under a land trust, you not only keep the sale price private but you also avoid transfer tax and public record of the sale.

If you are concerned about protecting your assets, real estate transactions and identity from the public then a land trust in my opinion is your best choice.

that sounds like good advice.  Also might want to close all social media accounts like FB.  But leave Lottery Post open, of course.

FL only publishes name and city.  No picture required so unless you have a very unique name you should be good in FL.....especially if you change your address to an area you don't really live in before you claim.

How would that work? To change your address to an area you really don't live in before you claim your prize? What address would you have the check mailed to?

I never even thought of picking it up or having it wired! The address on your I.D wouldn't match the "pretend"  address.
