Would you be invisibly upset or angry if the next 5 PB winners were in their 80's?

Given the present climate of some almost in disbelief of a 84 year old winning it all....
Would you quit playing for a while?

I am only invisible on the day of the summer solstice and I am not upset when I am invisible.

        No.

And I don't think there's a 'climate of disbelief' over the 84 yr old winner, either.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Umm. No. I'd probably get a good laugh out of it.

                I Agree!

This is the first I've heard of a "climate of disbelief".

Doesn't matter how old someone is. They paid their money, they won. Congrats.

                On to the next draw.

                      noise-gate,

What would upset you or make you more angry, if the next 5 winners were in their 80s, or the next 5 winners were 19 yr olds who had never played before? (Or anyone who had never played before- I said 19 because that's exactly what happened to a girl in Georgia a few years back).

And why does anyone winning upset you?

                        No.

And I don't think there's a 'climate of disbelief' over the 84 yr old winner, either.

Really?- l have seen a question asked here about whether its a " blessing or a Curse for someone of that age" to have won the lottery etc etc.. If that is not " disbelief- what is?

l wonder if people think that the lottery ought to be won by persons in their 20- 60's as if winning at the ripe old age of 80 plus is an impediment? My take on the matter is that it does not matter what age you are in order to be a winner.

No however I'd be miffed if the next 5 winners ended up like Dave Edwards, Jack Whittaker, Victoria Zell and the like

Not at all. Congrats no matter what age. The winner is from Florida. It's a retirement state. There's a whole lot of over 65 there enjoy their retirement. So the fact that the winner is 84 shouldn't surprise anyone.
