        noise-gate,

Maybe some of the people you say are "hoarding their money for who knows what" aren't hoarding it at all but are very aware that how much you win doesn't matter as much as how much you keep of what you win.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

        Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Whats the point in "keeping" it CT? The winner will not always be around to enjoy it, you know?

              Yo CT,

that reminds me of that other saying,

                        Ronnie, haymaker,

I was going off an old adage, "It's not how much you make, but what you keep of what you make" (just a variation of what haymaker said about saving).

                        Ronnie,

Let's look at it this way, many of those winners who blow it all (statistics say soomething like 50% of winners within 5 years) were not at all concerned with keeping any of it.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

Not familiar w/that variation, but I think the point Is to make It outlast yourself,

I think being broke after being rich would be worse than never being rich.

But I can't swear to It, would have to ask that women from PA. that won twice and blew It all.

I kinda think of money as stored labor, for when I can no longer work.

Stored labor huh?- l kinda like the ring to it.Reminds me of what l read once of a bank Robber telling the Clerk " l am not robbing your bank- l am merely making a forced withdrawal"

Which reminds me of something l read recently that had me shaking my head. Did you know that in LA they have created a water menu of some 20 mineral waters from 10 countries.

Apparently guests can read a thorough description on each bottle, including a detailed account of the taste, mineral content and the
                              "
TDS"- total dissolved solids. They say this is the next movement in the food and beverage business.
