      $1.10 total. Bat is 1.00 more than ball. $1.05 for the  bat.  .05 for the ball.  = $1.10. Besides, I've seen this before. Green laugh

              That's the answer if you use a calculator, but if someone tried to do the math in their head, bet they came up with 190 and were wrong because they didn't follow instructions.

                  True, but folks doing it in their head might think of it as ((10 + 10) x 10) - 10 instead of how it's written which is partly the reason there's so much confusion when lottery players talk math.
