\$1.10 total. Bat is 1.00 more than ball. \$1.05 for the  bat.  .05 for the ball.  = \$1.10. Besides, I've seen this before.

True, but folks doing it in their head might think of it as ((10 + 10) x 10) - 10 instead of how it's written which is partly the reason there's so much confusion when lottery players talk math.

Hello duckman, I learned the Order of Operations in grade school. I can see the chalkboard now. Parenthesis, exponents, multiplication & division, addition & subtraction.

So what's the answer to the 10x10 question and yes how does it pertain to the lottery....oh and like all my old math teachers used to say "Show your work"
