I see a lot of you posting 24/7 all day everyday

I sense a lot of you spend tons of money chasing get rich quick fantasies

With all the time you spend on lottery how can you give your spouse the love they need...

Loosing $500 just to win a straightbox $290 would have me smh at my spouse

Wonder how many breakups or divorces came from your addictio. To lottery

Some say its as damaging as drug and alcohol addictions...

Single here as well.  Some time being spent early as I try to find a system I'm confortable with.  It's taking a bit extra time right now but I suspect it will reduce in the future.  Am I dreaming?

Still, priorities remain the same: Self/Family, Career, ......................lottery.

        I remain, patiently optimistic

So if I don't post "24/7 all day everyday," am I allowed to chime in?

For my partner and I, it has let to discussions about our weekly and monthly budget and our savings. My partner has actually got me spending less on the lottery than in used to. Maybe someday they'll reveal their true identity as Thrifty. We've also had the fun conversations about what we would do if we did hit something substantial. And those talks have turned into practical conversations about how to handle smaller, more realistic windfalls like raises, bonuses, tax refunds, etc.

            Maybe we're weird.

What you describe is a person with a true addition.

People who have similar symptoms of a person who is addicted to drugs or alcohol.

Communicating on LP can be therapeutic for some and an eye opener for others who have realized and spoken out about their problems with gambling.

Personally, my husband and I both play lottery.

We have our own monies to play with and study and work out the numbers in different ways.

              We discuss the lottery.

Now, your question concerning, how you can give your spouse the love they need puzzles me, because the two are on two different planes.

Fortunately, We are not so addicted that it consumes us. But, we love this site, as well as "NFL.com", "You Tube", computer games , "News sites and many other site that we store under "Favorites".

I hope you are not having the above problem which you have brought up.

The numbers will tell you what numbers to play. Pay attention to the numbers.

My wife and I play together. We each pick 3 numbers and combine them into a set. We spend $6 per week buying 1 ticket per MM and PB drawing. We used to fight a lot before we started but playing has brought us closer together and helped evolve our problem solving techniques.

What addiction?  The most I'd spend in a month is about $10.00 - $20.00.  It's a purely fun thing for me as it's something I truly enjoy - not bad for an entertaining pastime.

We all Luv to win ..... at least now 'n again!

Well I don't post 24/7 but the lottery has no effect on anything or anyone in my life. As others know, I am a big fan of telling people that playing the lottery should only be a small part of you life. One should be pursuing other goals and not subscribe to the "I will do that when I win the lottery."

I have done the pick 3 each thing with a former college roommate a few times. We each buy the same ticket. The first time we did it, we got the PB # and two others.

Absolutely. However l will gain a sense of satisfaction letting her give her notice first and clearing out her desk. She has earned it.

where's his/her opinion?...there should have been a little introspection before he/she assumed all LP-ers are outright addictsWhat? in a round about way.
