Which game do you see creating the next jackpot frenzy?

Not just here on LP but including the media, just like this last round with Mega Millions.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

This time around it wasn't until the 16th drawing that MM made it past $200 million. The last 2 times that PB made it past $200 million it took 10 and 9 drawings. That the more recent PB run took a bit longer may indicate a general jackpot fatigue, so perhaps it will take 11 or 12 drawings for PB to reach $200 million again. That's still 4 or 5 drawings faster than MM.

MM has a slight edge because of the higher odds, but I think that PB has a better overall chance of being the next one to break $200 million and create at least a bit of extra excitement. Even if PB is hit in the next 2 weeks, it will probably still beat MM to the $200 million point if the next run doesn't produce a winner earlier than that.

PB. It has a head start, and the $2 price will make it rise quicker. Unless it gets hit at 70 million again.....LOL.

Last night's PB sales remained healthy, should hit $300-400M range in 11 drawings, 2 rolls after and it could get to a billion!

If Tuesday's MM sales $ was translated to Powerball, there would have still been close to a 40% chance of rollover

I don't think you will have to wait until April. If MM continues to roll into early March (22-23 draws), the jackpot would most like exceed $1 Billion

I think so too it will reach a billion next time. The numbers this time were all low.. numbers people play for birthdays

Yep, I almost guarantee you it would have rolled again if the numbers drawn would have been 51-56-61-65-74 MB: 15 for example.

PB sales are so healthy, heck, there's a slight possibility next Wednesday's jackpot may be higher than $70 million!!
