Where did anyone say winning was a given??

I didn't say you always bring up this issue, but do you? I was speaking within the contents of this thread.

If folks want to talk about what they would do if they did win, how is that any of your business and why would that bother you since you brought it up.

What i brought up was from my observations culminating from years of reading threads, not just this one.

Forums exist so people can reply to them. Are you suggesting I should limit my responses because you said so? That's fine, I will, but then we have to put restrictions on how often people can post about how they will spend a fortune that is 99.9% unattainable. Or anything relating to the subject. No?..I thought so.

and it's obvious you stick your nose where it doesn't belong...that is further clarified by you yourself and what you just said.

Oh I see, it's a one way street for you. If you reply to a post it's ok, but if i reply it's sticking my nose somewhere it doesn't belong? Who made you the response police?

I was trying to be diplomatic, but now all bets are off. I have an idea, why don't you mind your own business and go play on the highway blind folded.. Figure the odds of you getting hit by a car. Hit With Stick

Thanks for allowing me to post my observations, I appreciate that.

So what other threads may I reply to? Please make a list of which ones I'm allowed to respond to so I know, thanks.

        LOL

I'll keep on playing, even if the odds are 99.9 to 1 every draw is a seperate 99 to 1; one of em could be mine if I play.

Good, so is it ok with you If I make more responses to this and other threads if someone writes about all the millions they're eventually gonna win? Or should i consult with you first?

I'm only asking because I don't want to upset the response police.

I think you have the odds mixed up with another game. lol

The odds are millions or hundreds of millions to 1, not 99 to 1.

I have yet to see anyone on this thread who is not clear of the odds of winning. What i see is folks stating they play because they enjoy it and do so with hopes they hold the lucky numbers. Nobody can say a person will never win in their lifetime, but to keep poking at folks who play just like you who have stated nothing to indicate they don't know their odds of winning tends to come off as someone who seems to be having a little too much fun "thinking" they are bursting others bubbles as it was put, in reminding them of their odds. You have to have a bubble in order to burst it and thus far, i fail to see one person who has even remotely indicated they didn't know the odds of winning. Bubbles are fun, until it's one's own bubble that ends up getting popped in the end. Sorry, you didn't tell any of us anything we didn't already know.

Well, you have your first customer. Green laugh

Yes, and I will continue to play. Every drawing is a different chance to get lucky with any amount of money; I gamble for fun and hopefully a payout would be a bonus in the future. I cant tell if your a troll so I'm just gonna ignore your other staements.

the flaw in this logic is EVERYONE cant not win in theyre life time. or there would be no jackpot  winners.

                      2014 = -1016; 2015= -1409; 2016  = -1171; 2017 = ?  TOT =  -3596

                      keno historic = -2291 ; 2015= -603; 2016= -424; 2017 = ? TOT = - 3318

It's hard to say if you will win or not, just keep playing and see what happens.

                          shyguitar,

Whenever anyone turns cash into a lottery ticket, casino chips, a sports bet, or a horse bet or any other form of gambling, they should consider it gone.

Nice to get some of it (or more) back, but don't count on it.

I agree and this is the best way to think about it. You have to view it as a game only.  If Shyguitar would participate in Maddog's challenges, etc., she might have a different attitude towards it. I don't expect to win and half of the time I am more concerned with my ranking on FJA's list, etc. lol

Losing is the nature of the game.

                            Artist77,

"I want my money back" has caused more gamblers to blow more money than anything else. Casino gambling is a litle different than lotto, lotto is a $1 or $2 ticket, or a lot more, depending on the player.

But people go to casinos intending to spend X amount of dollars, lose, and spend five times that trying to recover the original amount (this is called 'chasing'). People who want their money back have no business betting it in the first place.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                            Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Yea Coin Toss, I guess that is why casinos have never interested me. I always tell a couple of acquaintances that go to them (and invited me a couple of times), what would I do there after I blew my $5-$10 in 5 minutes? lol
