That is a good site.  I go there often.   They need a search function, tho.

there was an ad when I visted this thread.  Lynda.com

It has a search function.

Mr. excel is good.

There is only two veteran guys on YT that do excel well from what I know.

Of course there are fringe teachers.

Thats where I learned arrays.  They are pretty and cool, but they aint helping me win too much.

Bill Jelen and some other dude are on YT.

And some student of mr excel is teaching VBA on YT too.

I was watching the video but I got bored.

I think VBA is the way to go. You can accomplish so much with very little coding. Of course it isn't for everyone and you do have to learn it. Knowing VB6, meant VBA was a piece of cake. If you need code, I can gladly write it for you, but it will be a macro and I know some people dont' trust them, since they could be malicious. I would never copy/paste VBA off the internet without knowing what it did 1st. I work IT and someone I work with use to do it all the time. Had to train them to come to me if they need help

Basically in VBA, you just take the 1st # of column 1 and search through column 2 adding one to the variable each time it hit, then goto #2 in column 1 and repeat until it was done. It would then tell you how many times it found # matches.
