Naturally there are duplicates. It's supposed to be random so a machine in Missouri can kick out numbers 3.5.18.28.33 and so can a machine in California for the same game. There could also be duplicates in the same state as well.

I see what you're saying, though. You think there should be only 1 set of numbers generated and when it is they shouldn't be duplicated. But that's not the way the cookie crumbles in the lottery world. At least not to my understanding.

I'm wondering, does the quick pick machine pick more than one winning ticket nationwide? My impression is that it doesn't. However, the past couple of PBs I've noticed that there are a bunch of second place winners. I don't know if they were all QP but its kind of strange for that many people to winners to get the second prize but miss the jackpot. Anyhow, can someone shed a light on how the lottery machines work, hiw the network is setup and etc.

    Thanks

    GOOD Question:

How does the QP machine git it's Quick Picks?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Inorder to answer any question or questions about Quick Picks that we buy at our favorite numbers hole, it

would be nice to know the inter=workins of actually how each number has been generated???????????????

    BACK in 2001:

Psyko was into QP's along with 50 million other players. In one state I lived they did not offer QP's and every

player in that state finally got the comission to provide players what they wanted..............QUICK PICK'$$$$$

which is quick money for the lottery commission and quick tickets for the lazy lottery players on the GO>>>>>

Psyko ask that state how did they produced there Quick Picks and was told each computer termanial has a

software that generates UR numbers with automatic precision##############################

thought this was strange tonight, I bought 1 powerball ticket and 1 powerball with powerplay, and both had number 33 as the powerball number.  So, I went back in the store to get another powerball ticket to get one with another powerball number.  The third ticket had 33 as the powerball number.  I will be in shock if the powerball number is 33 tonight.
