You could play unlimited times each day, but the payout would be smaller. You would instantly win like in a scratch off also. It would only take a couple seconds for each drawing. Would you play this? Why or why not.

You want to play the lottery for free?  Somehow you would have to buy something first, like a big mack from mcdonalds

If they had a special going on to get a state lottery ticket.  Mmmmmm

Even if the JP was $5 only, plenty of people would play it if it is free. You just go in a store and ask for a "Minipot" ticket? But which store would sell such a game? where would their commission come from? where would the payout money come from? If it doesn't make sense on paper then it cannot work.Big Grin

      That money's gone fo ever

It is hypothetical but there are forms of basically free money such as give a penny take a penny. How it would work im not too sure, but I am curious as to how many times someone would play something for free if the jackpot is only a couple grand. I would probably be burnt out in a couple hours.

"forms of basically free money such as give a penny take a penny"

It is not free if you have to pay anything upfront, in between, or at the end. "Give a penny take a penny" is more along the lines of a fair bet.

I don't see why anybody would offer such a game. There is always a profit motive and this goes against it.

If the chances of winning the jackpot are so slim, why play when the jackpot is so small? Your chances never change, but the potential payoff does.
If a crystal ball showed you the future of the rest of your life, and in that future you will never win a jackpot, would you still play?

If such a thing was possible would you bother investing your time or overlook it due to the smaller payout? Thats basically the question im getting at.

Thanks for the responses so far as well everyone.

Any body ever heard of Free Lotto?

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

                    I'm curious.
What state is so well off that it can give away tax dollars to fund the jackpot in a no income game?
You must be one of those folks who is enjoying life without ever having to do any work.

Like someone else has mentioned sweepstakes are pretty much a free lottery but you usually have to buy a large drink or something of that sort.

                          It was Pumpi's idea.

Well maybe he did something with it (just kidding).

"Google" Free Lotto" and see what you find. (It was around way before Pumpi).

Oh man. I looked up the sites, and the layouts are horrible, and they just scream scam. Promising payouts of 50 million etc. If they actually seemed reasonable I would be more inclined to play.
