I know cashman87 does and he uses numbers also for horse races and i know people that play sports bets who make a living,

But which is better at making a living playing lottery or sports bets.

Are we all wasting  our time and just spinning our wheels with the lottery?

When we could easily do so much better at gambling sports ? 50/50 odds ?

I am in michigan and can drive a short distance over the boarder to windsor casino and play sports bets if i choose this over the lottery.

I don't know anybody making a living by playing a lottery game. You probably will find nobody who does.

Yes they do.  What you put in to it.  You get out of it.

There are more people making a living by selling lottery numbers than there are who make a living by winning with lottery numbers.

Yes, sports betting would be better. Heck, even roulette or any other crap casino game would be better. But lottery is still fun to play every now and then.

If the chances of winning the jackpot are so slim, why play when the jackpot is so small? Your chances never change, but the potential payoff does.
If a crystal ball showed you the future of the rest of your life, and in that future you will never win a jackpot, would you still play?

It's possible based on the number of number prediction threads started almost daily in the systems forum, that some or all of them are at least hoping to sell their picks.

I have no doubt there are folks that have lottery play strategies that produce consistent profits.  They keep that to themselves.  I know of a local guy that wins big with incredible results; only someone with an inside track could produce.  I heard someone asked him how he does it and in a rude manner flatly refused. I have some clues as to what he may be doing.

For most folks these days, you don't really have to win that big to replace your daily work salary.  That is really my first step-lottery play goal.

To achieve more, think big but go small. Figure out what the One Thing which delivers the most bang for your buck is and do that alone. Less really is more when it comes to getting things done.

I agree Lildarryl.  I think maybe some folks are making some off of pick 3, which seems to be why 90% of the posts here on LP are about pick 3 and pick 4.  If a person wants to make a living off of the lottery then they could choose pick 3 as one choice.  I will use Oklahoma as an example.

Pick 3 for a box is $80 and a person would need to win many times a week.  Forget Pick 4.  A straight in Pick 3 here is too hard to get.

Pick 5 for Oklahoma is 1-36 and first prize is $25,000 taxes paid.  You would need to win that twice a year.  For 4/5 numbers the prize is $500, not too bad.  You would need to win that 5 times a month.

Now not sure how much money to start with but it would still be good to have a part time job.  Or have the wife working.  Drive some pizza.   Plus have some really good software to help out.

Wish I could pull it off.

Home, home where I wanted to be.
