FYI for those interested, reruns again Saturday, January 24, 2015.  Three hourly shows beginning 12:00 EST., on TLC.

Yes, I am one who enjoys them no matter how many times they are shown!

No, the show ended years ago.

If the chances of winning the jackpot are so slim, why play when the jackpot is so small? Your chances never change, but the potential payoff does.
If a crystal ball showed you the future of the rest of your life, and in that future you will never win a jackpot, would you still play?

I really dont think with the claiming anonymously issue ongoing people want to put themselves out there for the crazies to find them.  If I was lucky enough to win, there is NO way I would ever go on a show.  I would make sure to send a legal representative to claim on my behalf and NO photo conference either.  Hypocritical I know, I love to watch the shows but wouldnt want to be one of them. So I will continue to get enjoyment watching reruns.

Crazies will find you regardless especially when you have that kind of money, the only reason I'd go on that show is to show the people who watch it what it is going to feel like when they win and what they should or should not do

I would'nt call it hypocritical, it just reinforces the notion that you would rather be anonymous,

I watched that TV show Hoarders, and then wanted to clean my basement, garage and home office, not as bad as a hoarder of course

but I still got rid of some unnessasary clutter.

Seen a video clip today on yahoo news, a JP winner of 18 MILs named Alex Snelius,

I think I seen him on LCML but could'nt remember which ep.

He's the guy that donates $100 to some charity every time the white sox get a home run. Illinois maybe ?

He won that back in 2000 and said it's a curse, he still gets mail asking him for $ 15 years later.

                    I guess it never stops.

lol Haymaker about Hoarders.  That show makes me an obsessive de-clutterer. But I have one next door to me (fits the profile).

I think Alex Snelius is an older gentlemen who lost his wife shortly after winning.  Once that happened the money meant nothing to him.  He also was very religious and was building a little chapel in his wifes's name on his property?   If I have the right guy, I can understand his feeling the money was a curse.  From the show, he seemed like a generous man and that trait brings out the worst in people.  Just like Abraham Shakespeare, such a tragic ending when hs life should have been so much better.

Lol, tv hoarders oh my, I cant watch that show, some of those people cant throw away a bag, there is a definite disconnect and is very sad.

I think she is being profiled in the first show. The way she was spending, I too wonder what is left.  More so the boyfriend/husband, a Bugati as a wedding gift?

She shared the jackpot among her brother and father equally. It left her with 22m and change after taxes. She has 4 children and a high maintenance toy boy soon to be husband. The dude is smiling from ear to ear. He seems more excited about what the money can do more than her.
