This explains some of the filters:
DG Filters For Dummies
OK I'll try to explain in laymens terms what each filter means. Some of them are pretty simple to understand.
O-D (Odd Digit) - This is the total number of ODD Digits from the drawing. For example, today NJ Midday drawing was 9-4-4. So the 9 was the only Odd digit so the filter value would be a 1. The filter setting range from 0 through 3.
E-O (Even to Odd) - This is if the 1st position is an Even Digit drawn and the 2nd Position is an Odd digit drawn. For example, today NJ Midday drawing was 9-4-4. The 1st digit is a 9 which is Odd and the 2nd position digit was a 4 which is Even. The filter value would be a 0. The filter setting range is either a 0 or a 1.
O-E (Odd to Even) - This is if the 1st position is an Odd Digit drawn and the 2nd Position is an Even digit drawn. For example, today NJ Midday drawing was 9-4-4. The 1st digit is a 9 which is Odd and the 2nd position digit was a 4 which is Even. The filter value would be a 1 since 9 = Odd and 4 = Even. The filter setting range is either a 0 or a 1.
O-F (Odd Front Pair) - This is if the 1st position is an Odd Digit drawn and the 2nd Position is Odd digit drawn making an Odd Front Pair. For example, today NJ Midday drawing was 9-4-4. The 1st digit is a 9 which is Odd and the 2nd position digit was a 4 which is Even. The filter value would be a 0 since 9 = Odd and 4 = Even. The filter setting range is either a 0 or a 1.
C-D (Consecutive Digits Front Pair - Consecutive Digits Back Pair) - This is if the Front Pair is a 01, 12, 23, 34, 45, 56, 67, 89 and also the Back Pair is a 01, 12, 23, 34, 45, 56, 67, 89. The filter setting range is either a 0,1 or 2. If the Front Pair was a 23 and Back Pair was a 34 the filter value would be 2 since the 23 and 34 are both consecutive Pairs.
T-R (Total Repeat Digits) - This filter calculates how many digits repeated from the previous drawing. The filter value could be 0, 1, 2, or 3. For example, today NJ Midday drawing was 944. Last nights evening drawing was 557 so no digits repeated. On 6/13/2013 Midday drawing was 432 and the 6/12/2013 evening drawing was 344. So the value would be 2 since the 4 and 3 repeated from the 6/12/2013 evening draw.
P-R (Positional Repeat Digits) - This filter calculates how many digits repeated by position. The filter value could be 0, 1, 2 or 3. For example, on May 5/2013 the NJ Midday drawing was 935. On 5/4/2013 the NJ evening drawing was 035. So the filter value would be 2 since the 3 repeated in position 2 and the 5 repeated in position 3.
M-D (Mirror Digit Pairs) - This filter calculates how many pairs in the Front Pair, Back Pair, and Side Pair were Mirror Pairs. Mirror Pairs are 05, 16, 27, 38, 49. If we take the NJ 6/18/13 Midday drawing which was 944. Next we take the Front Pair 94 and put it in ascending order which would be 49. Next, we take the Back Pair 44 and put the 44 in ascending order. Since the 44 is a double pair no need to change it to ascending order. Next we take the Sid Pair 94 and put it in ascending order so this would be 49. So our 3 Pairs in ascending order are 49, 44, and 49. You can see we have 2 Pairs 49 that are Mirror Pairs so the filter value would be 2. The filter value could be 0, 1, 2, or 3.
F-D (First Digit Pairs) - This filter calculates how many pairs in the Front Pair, Back Pair, and Side Pair were First Digit Pairs. First Digit Pairs are 09, 18, 27, 36, 45. For example, if we take the NJ Midday drawing on 6/15/13 which was 637 and create our 3 Pairs 63 37 and 67. Next we put the 3 pairs in ascending order (low to high). So we have 36 37 and 67. Notice the 36 Pair is a First Digit Pair. So our filter value would be 1.
Hope I explained the filter settings clearly using the examples.
