Read somewhere states and government were having such money problems they could not afford to televise some of there lottery draws anymore?

GUESS WHAT?....someone got the big "idea" to let a computer in the back room located in a "secret" place and managed by a security dude making

twenty-five dollars an hour "Do the Job"! Don't you worry now because, they will place security guards around the room hidden in secret locations to

jump out and "git" you if you are not the twenty-five dollar security dude who goes in to "fix" the RNG. Don't you worry anymore cause, these guards

make ten dollars an hour and are happier than pigs eating stuff. Well now, the RNG solved their $$$ problem but, did it help solve your money........?

I voted "sometimes" because that's how I play MM and PB now.

PB and MM have evolved to attract the most players, changing to a RNG would probably attract fewer players until the jackpots were really large.

          What does RNG stand for?

            Random Number Generator

it means a computer selected numbers over the popcorn ball stype drawings.  When I was a wee lass, the ohio lottery had a snow at 7:30 on sat evenings where they did all the pingpong ball drawings.  Was a lot of fun seeing which balls would make it into the tube.

RJOh, you are probably correct in that statement. RNG (Really Not Good)is not what I would call independent of human involvement. My wondering behind this is how long it would take before the jackpots got to a point that folks would say,"Ok now I will play"......... Let the ping pong balls bounce !!!!

Yes i would Psykopath. Haven't won big with robo-balls yet so i can't say RNGs are any worse but the recent not so Hot lotto scam by the Penguin will make some suspicious.

IF you can convince your mind that RNGs are QP''s you'll be fine.

I would sometimes but, not until the jackpot sparked a media frenzy.  When the jackpot reached that level I'd go ahead and gamble

                    a few dollars.

The great irony is that they have also evolved to detest the most players.

Do you know that they are not really ping pong balls?  I think they are acrylic or something.  Not every state has balls either.   Some have "discs".  Kind of "pllinko" style.

I assume even with an RNG it would be heavily regulated/monitored?
