I was just notified by mail that I won $1,230,946.00

All I have to do is send a check for $12.99 payable to Award Notification Commission.

They're good people, right ? LMAO

Very official looking, didn't even read all the BS

it says I could take the annuity and that's $2.000,000.00

The bottom of the page looks like a check made out for the 1.2 figure WTF ? suppose I want the annuity

At the bottom of the check it says No purchase necessary. purchase will not increase your chances of winning LMAO

If this came w/a business reply envelope I send em my own BS check written in crayon. LMAO

Tell them to take that $12.99 out of your winnings and tip themselves an extra hundred for sending you your money.

I'm always worried if I do that, then I'll be guilty of fraud, perhaps even some interstate crime. (some guys back in school got in big-time trouble for signing a teacher up for hundreds of magazine subscriptions - this was pre-Internet as we know it today, but it still freaked me out. )  What I do instead is save up the addresses and post a few under some posts in my own blog.  I make the text white so they're invisible against the white background where it looks like this:  > spammer@someaddy.com <.  Using bots specifically designed to harvest email addys, other spammer scammers will soon have them in their databases and the spammer scammers will spam the spammer scammers.

Reminds me of the Jerry Seinfeld intro script where he talks about some good news he got in the mail:

"JERRY: I have to tell you that I did some very exciting news recently, and I don't know if I should really tell you exactly what it is because it's really not a definite thing yet. Well, I will tell you what I know so far.

According to the information that I have in the envelope that I've received, it seems that I may have already won some very valuable prizes. Well, thank you, thank you very much, well thank you. It's very nice to hear that. But, in all honesty, I have to say, I didn't even know I was in this thing. But, according to the readout, it looks like I am among the top people that they are considering.

You know, that's what annoys me about the sweepstakes companies, they always tease you with that, "You may have already won." I'd like once for a sweepstakes company to have some guts, come out with the truth, just tell people the truth one time. Send out envelopes, "You have definitely lost!" You turn it over, giant printing, "Not even close!" You open it up, there's this whole letter of explanation, "Even we cannot believe how badly you've done in this contest." "

Probably Kansas or Nebraska. They send a lot.
