In California, Super Lotto Plus JP odds are 1:42M. Compared to MM (1:258M) or PB (1:292M).
Cost per ticket weighs into it, as well. PB is twice the amount to play with slightly less chance of winning a JP?
It wouldn't surprise me at all if PB lowers their cost back down to a buck. Their sales are stagnant since the matrix change.
They should have lowered the PB-count, because its the only reason I'll play MM instead of SLP (15 vs 27 MBs).
The JPs might be smaller with SRLs (about proportionate to odds for say mid-size JPs), but I'd rather have better odds of winning.
Also, SRLs make their games more appealing by having slightly higher payout for the lower tier payouts.
