With everybody dreaming about the 800 million powerball jackpot now its the perfect time to stay anonymous even if your state doesnt allow it by winning the mega millions tonight. I mean whos gonna care who won tonight when theres almost a billion dollars on the line tommorow?

Only for now. People are still gonna snoop around especially if the winner can't stay anonymous.

People CAN stay anonymous, regardless of whether the state allows it.  Click on my username to see my profile - and visit my "Lucky You" website shown on the profile page to find out how.

I think your suggestion to become your own financial planner is spot on!

          Thanks for posting that article.

Thank you.  I'm surprised other Lottery Post members haven't visited the "Lucky You" site and commented on it.  As you can see by looking at my post's sidebar info, I joined Lottery Post just "days" after I put the "Lucky You" site up - over TEN YEARS AGO.  Perhaps earlier posts I made mentioning the site have been filtered out due to their age.

BTW, a couple of days ago, I got a "positive" email from a Certified Financial Planner - despite my suggestion that winners take training to be their own financial planner instead of seeking out and hiring one.  Go figure.

When I was filling out my play slip for the Mega draw tonight, I over heard a guy buying both Mega and PB. Some people have taken noticed. $165 million is still a lot of dough.

May the balls bounce in your favor!

if you win saturdays powerball jackpot and take the lump sum your're really going to end up with about 200 million after 25% federal withholding and state taxes plus the 39.6% youre going to owe next april
