I pick 1, 3 and 6.  I study the numbers, I see it as a challenge and its almost become a hobby to me.  Believe it or not, I find it kind of relaxing, coming home from work, going over the numbers and trying to hit the next drawing.  To me its fun.

It's exciting and fun to fantasize the what if....

My number 1 answer would be because I want to retire INSTANTLY.

I play the lottery because it RELAXES me.  Bang Head

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

        It's fun!

I generally only play 1 line when the JP is fairly high -- that's less than an overpriced coffee from Starbucks that I sometimes buy (£2 for a ticket, £2.35 for a coffee)

Image result for skydiversLike lottery players- these guys love what they doing. Is there a possibility that they may lose their lives- sure. But its pointless telling them to cut it out, especially when it feels to darn good!

People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it- George Bernard Shaw.

Daydream fuel! When doing mindless work, it makes me happy and in a good mood to think about winning and day dream about all I'd do..  The daydreams come easily when you are out shoveling horse manure in the rain, and slipping around in the mud trying to get a full wheelbarrow through the wet clay sludge.

                      Its entertainment.

After working all day, dealing with WAY more people than I want and then balancing the checkbook - making sure all those peskie atm receipts are recorded - its real nice to be able to look at my picks for the week and grin.

I enjoy thinking about all the people in my life who I can help. Even though I am restricted by the IRS on how much I can give to each person, I will still help them. Maybe it is a good thing that I cannot ruin another person's life by being too generous.

How generous I can be, depends on how much I win.

I will start with family first. That is in the New Testament. "You are worse than an infidel if you neglect your own family."

I really enjoy that the Power Ball jackpot winners in California and Florida are taking their sweet time to collect on a debt. Each State owes these two winners and must pay on the debt.

I will use the phrase, "Scan and Verify" instead of "Validate the ticket."

In Iowa, when you scan and verify your ticket the machine yells out "YooHoo!"

Here in California, a message appears on the screen. Oh well.

I have an interest in birthdays. I am more likely to remember someone's birthday than his or her name. I like to follow the numbers games to see when they pull birthdays, especially mine.

I started following the D.C. area numbers games in 2000, although I didn't try to look for patterns in the numbers. However, between October 2000 and December 2001, my birthday won the D.C. 3-ball five times, and three of those five times were on Thursdays. So, I began thinking that Thursday was my lucky day.

I began detecting a pattern in when my birthday won the Virginia Lottery. Based on this pattern, I predicted that my birthday was going to win the nighttime drawing on March 29, 2005 in Virginia. When that day came, I went to the grocery store ... and proceeded to forget to buy the lottery ticket. Then, they drew my birthday! ($500 = a lot to a college student)  Bang Head.

Today's winning 3-ball is going to be a number between 000 and 999.

In a lot of states, lotteries benefit education. That makes the REAL winners the only people who can't play!
