There are 220 Box numbers, but not really as 10 of them are both straight and any-order they are 000 111 222 333 444 555 666 777 888 999
The pick 3 game is a straight numbers game, the box or any order stuff is artificial, there are 1000 pick 3 numbers and they always come out straight.
Anyhow, Do each of the 220 box numbers have the same chance to come out? No.
These 000 111 222 333 444 555 666 777 888 999 are triples, triads or whatever, they are both box and straight, but really straight so each of them has a 1/1000 chance to come out, or so they say, but in the more or less long run and maybe not in the short run, so to speak, they are "one way numbers" (AAA).
What they call doubles, such as 077, 494, Etc, they are 3 ways numbers: AAB, ABA and BAA, because of that, each of them, is worth, or is the equivalent, of 3 straight pick 3 numbers, so each double has a chance to come out of 3/1000 or so I think so, now-days I am not sure of anything anymore, not that I ever was.
Singles such as 123, 063, Etc, they are said to be 6 ways numbers: ABC, ACB, BCA, BAC, CAB and CBA, mistakes are very possible, so beware of them, as such each of them is worth or is the equivalent of 6 straight pick 3 numbers.
Most people here very probably already know all of these things, it is nothing new.

It is said and they are right that no draw has anything at all to do with any other draw, that might be 100% right.
It is also said that any of the 1000 straight pick 3 numbers have exactly the very same chance to come out at any time for any and all draws no matter what happened or didn't happen at any other time before, including pre and post draws if any at all.
So something like this is just as possible to happen as anything else:
555
555
555
555
555
555
555
Etc.
There is no reason as to why not, as anything is possible to happen, pick 3 balls have no memory and each straight pick 3 number has exactly the very same chance to come out as any other pick 3 number at any time.

Yet here:
Mon, Dec 28, 2015 9-7-6
Sun, Dec 27, 2015 4-2-5
If on the 27 of Dec of 2015 after the 425 came out I had said that there was a good chance that the 425 would not come out again on the very next draw on the 28 of Dec 2015, then I would have been right.
But why? After all, all 1000 straight pick 3 numbers have exactly the very same chance to come out at any time at all and this is 100% right.
Because there are 1000 straight pick 3 numbers that want to come out next and since the 425 just came out we might think that it is time for some other number to come out instead, after all, the 425 just had its chance to come out and it did.
But the 425 could have come out again, there is no reason as to why not.
This is what filtration is all about, we make assumptions regardless of the odds, the odds might say that the 425 always has a 1/1000 chance to come out no matter what past draws show, because after all one draw doesn't have anything to do with any other draw and that is not a lie, it is true.
That is why I said, look at the past draws because they don't lie and that is all that we have, we might want to make predictions based on the past draws.
-------
Why would I say that there is a good chance that the 425 would not come out again on the very next draw?
Because if we look at the past draws or at a portion of them:

We see that one straight pick 3 number will not very often come out again on the very next draw after the draw in which it just came out.
We go by what we see on the past draws because that is all that we have.
It is just one example, but filtration is based on that kind of thing.
For example, look at these 2 predictions that I made years ago:
https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/240717/2362642
https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/134410/607076
I didn't dream the numbers nor did I just made them up, they were the work of filtrations based on past draws, those predictions didn't win just by chance, I had no chance at all to win them, my only one chance to win them would have been if I had predicted the full set of 220 boxed or the 1000 full set of straight pick 3 numbers.
That is why I said, that when you know enough, regular odds no longer apply to your predictions, you will be past that, that doesn't mean that you will make a profit nor that you will win all of the time.
So learn as much as you can and when you know enough, you will not have to worry about the odds so much.
The numbers of the many predictions that I made thru the years, years ago, didn't just come out of the sky for me or to me, I got most of them thru the art of filtration and based on what I saw on the past draws, regardless of any Math odds.
I will give just one more sample a short one more or less:

Mon, Dec 28, 2015 9-7-6 22 Sum
Sun, Dec 27, 2015 4-2-5 11 Sum
As we can see, most of the time the very same Sum won't repeat right away on the very next draw.
The pick 3 sums are from 0 = 000, up to 999 = 27
Due to the make-up or structure of the pick 3 game the middle sums and not the lower and higher Sums are the ones that come out or should come out the most often as seen on those very few past draws.
Remember, the past draws don't lie!
Filtration is based on all these things and more.
Nothing is new, it has been said (I guess by myself) many many times before thru the years.

While patterns can and do repeat, most of the time they don't repeat from last to next draw, but it does happen.
That is why the more filtration that we make the more of a chance of filter(s) failure(s).
The bane of those who use filtration as a prediction technique.
Nobody said that things were or would be easy.
As most people are aware of, filtration as a prediction technique is not just for anybody and or everybody.
There is much more, there are very many possible filters-patterns and filters techniques.
Odds do get you, unless you are very very good and or very very lucky!
You wanna know more? There are plenty of past posts with much more info.
Even for me, things were never a piece of cake, no matter how many times I did predictions by filtration it was always very hard and I was never sure of the outcome.
