Bob I would like to see any Lotsoft users post their methods for using Lotsoft 5.

Posting videos, pdf's, screen shots, etc.

I mainly use paper/pencil and excel. I used to use Lotsoft a ton. However, I had to reset my computer a year or so ago. Since then, I have tried to reinstall Lotsoft per the instructions and get it to install, but after copying the data and mdb files per the instructions, I still do not get the "registered" version. I don't know if it's a Windows 10 thing or what. Anyway, unless this ever gets figured out, it looks like my Lotsoft days are numbered. Too bad, cause it was the best software I ever used.

I use combined draws for my analysis. I am using this for today's draw.
Both BP 85 & 64 have not hit in one year. I want to give you an example using ShortSums table, if I can get the screen shots in order.

ShortSums table. You are seeing the unhit boxes for one year.

ShortSums table showing BP 64 unhit combos in one year.

Just went through the install process again just to make sure, and still showing "Unregistered", so 18 days max and it'll be gone unless this can be figured out.

Maybe winsumlosesome can will jump in with some help. I re-installed the program last week , using W10, with no problems.

Unless I'm misunderstanding the process, it's simply install LotSoft, and then copy all the files from the separate "Data" folder to the data folder of LotSoft, correct?

I'm using the links given in winsum's blogs last entry

Another option is to right click the Lotsoft program from (All Programs) and Run As Administrator.

If you had a previous version of Lotsoft Pro you might want to un-install 1st.

Re-install the exe from the Blog link.

The data file zip link from my Blog is correct.

You would simply unzip the files from the data zip into the following folder:

                              C:\Program Files\INW\Lotsoft\data folder

You might want to try creating a new folder on your Desktop (name it whatever you like), download the data zip file from the link in the Blog, unzip the data folder contents, copy and paste all the .mdb files from the data folder (Desktop Folder) to the C:\Program Files\INW\Lotsoft\data folder.

Let me know if this worked!!
