      Hi Everyone:

Some time ago I posted a program I wrote called box2Win. This program produced 36 boxed(straight) P3 plays based on a past draws file. I recently revised the program, in an effort to produce more winners, and I'm offering the revision to you. The program can be downloaded from :

      http://www.filedropper.com/boxtowinrev1

The program makes its selections based on a grouping of four digits. All possible pairs are considered for the first two numbers of the selections, and the third number is taken from the complement set of six digits.

Download the program into a working folder, and prepare, in the same folder, a past draws text file of the past 20 draws. One draw per line, no other characters, the most recent draw on top, and the oldest on the bottom. Call this file : drawsP3.txt. Click on the icon box2Win_Rev1, and you'll see a DOS window appearing showing the four digits that were selected, and below the actual box(straight)selections. By entering any key, the DOS window will disappear, and you should notice that a file has been added to your folder called : boxedPlays.txt. Note that this file will not be current until the DOS window id msde to disappear, by entering any key.

Plays are made over a 10 day period. After 10 days, delete the oldest 10 plays from the draw file and add the latest 10 days worth of draws to the top of the draw file.

Let's take a look at and an example. Using the last 20 draws of the Texas evening P3 starting from May 2nd, 2015.

      The output of box2Win_Rev1 is:

********** 4 digit sets and max pair hit counts ***********
      5083
      ********Boxed plays are**************
      501 502 504 506 507 509
      581 582 584 586 587 589
      531 532 534 536 537 539
      081 082 084 086 087 089
      031 032 034 036 037 039
      831 832 834 836 837 839

      The results over the 10 day period were 176, 793, 683, 660, 576, 773, 597, 820, 961, 462, producing 2 boxed winners

After updating the draw file with the latest 10 results and dropping the oldest 10 results, box2Win_Rev1 gave:

********** 4 digit sets and max pair hit counts ***********
      6098
      ********Boxed plays are**************
      601 602 603 604 605 607
      691 692 693 694 695 697
      681 682 683 684 685 687
      091 092 093 094 095 097
      081 082 083 084 085 087
      981 982 983 984 985 987

      The results over the 10 day play period were 046, 851, 691*, 985*, 699, 964, 976, 100, 440, 802, producing 4 boxed a two straight winners.

Note: Ignore the phrase in the output reading : .."and max pair hit counts". This was meant to be deleted and has no purpose here.

Go over the examples and make sure you can reproduce the results shown here.

      Enjoy! Comments welcome.

      Thanks jayemmar.

Your method is a "2singles of 4 digits" wheel.

There are 210 combinations of 4 digits in P3. You don't reveal how you pick one of 210 sets.

My P3predict program is all about wheels analysis and simulation.

Just created a couple of videos on using some functions HERE.

Jay made a post...how you pick one of 210 sets

        https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/190722

        1. Create a table for all of the 50 boxed pairs(including doubles).

        2. Go through the last 60 days worth of draws for the P3 that you are playing, and mark off the pairs that come up.

        3. The pairs that remain unmarked are the plays over the next five days. You'll find often that there are as few as 2.

        4. After five days of play, update the draw list, and make a new table for the 60 draws(you'll be dropping the bottom 5 draws from the draw list).

This is a very simple system, and you'll be surprised how many of the uncovered pairs come out within the next five days, including the double pairs.

        Let's look at some examples:

The first one is not from a P3 lottery, rather from the NJ Pick4. I took the first three digits from the last 60 draws and considered them as P3 draws. The dates ranged from 07/23/09 and back. The uncovered pairs were: 26 and 88. The first three digits of the next five day's results were: 474, 737, 646, 240, and 788

Now let's consider the Ga Cash3, same dates as above. The uncovered pairs for this period of time were: 15, 26, 27, 77, and 88. The next five day's results were: 525, 955, 100, 492, 692

One more - the Ga Midday 3, same dates as above. The uncovered pairs were : 07 and 44. The results for the next five days were: 331, 868, 788, 802, 763.  No cigar! I did this on purpose to show you this system does lose, but I have it win many times with multiple hits, and so I think it's worth consideration and further testing.

One more note: I think programs like

This is the Box2Win Pick 4 version I have:

                    https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=2B334DB02ABFE027!398&authkey=!AKQBcEfG8TprpsI&ithint=file%2czip

Create a new folder and name it Box2Win Pick 4 or whatever your prefer.

Unzip the files into the above folder.

I don't recall how many total draws are required for the p4Draws.txt file.

There is a folder call P4-Games with the most recent draws through May 14, 2016.

Locate your states/game in the P4-Games and copy the  drawsP4.txt file into the main folder.

I believe there is a pdf with instructions from the thread.

The files you are referring to are from another Pick 4 program from Jayemmar.  I'll have to find these.

Note: this is an entirely different program from the Pick 3 in this thread.

OK, I found Jayemmar's Blog post with the Key Number Finder code.

I compiled the code from Jayemmar's Blog for KeyNumberFinder into an exe file.

Here is the download link to the zip file:

                      https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=2B334DB02ABFE027!399&authkey=!ABHfoklpsn57DAo&ithint=file%2czip

                      1> Create a new folder call KeyNumberFinderP3

2> Unzip the contents from the zip file into the new folder

3> There is a drawsP3.txt file that contains the PA Pick 3 evening draws. Last 20 draws.  You can substitute your game by going to the P3-Draws folder, find your Pick 3 game, copy and paste the draws.P3.txt to the main folder (created above).  Delete all draws from line 21 to the bottom of the text file

                      4> Double-click the "KeyNumberFinderP3.exe" file

Let me know if this worked.

I have Windows 10, 32 bit and it worked.

Missing Pairs Excel files.  Excel versions 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016

I put together 3 Excel files that will calculate every Pick 3 games Pairs including the Mass. Pick 3/Pick 4.

The calculations are based on Jayemmar's steps for calculating the missing "box" pairs from last 60 draws.

Instead of creating numerous Excel files for each state I combined the calculations into 3 Excel files.

Here is the download link to the zip file:

                        https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=2B334DB02ABFE027!400&authkey=!ALeKbHb0r3feyoA&ithint=file%2czip

                        Steps:

1> Create a new folder and name it Pick3MissingPairs or whatever you want.

2> Unzip the 3 Excel files into the new folder created above.

3> Open the Excel file labeled Step2.xlsm

Click the tab at the bottom labeled "MissingPairs"

In column D are the abbreviations for each of the Pick 3 games.

In column F are the missing pairs for each state

If the cell is empty then there were no missing boxed pairs from the last 60 draw calculations.

I will try and create a video on how to run all 3 Excel files from start to finish.  The Step2.xlsm Excel file is the final result (see above).

The calculations include all Pick 3 draws through Saturday, May 14, 2016

                        For example,

1> Open the Step2.xlsm Excel file

2> Click the tab at the bottom labeled "MissingPairs" (2nd tab from the left)

3> Scroll down to cell D97.  PA3C (Pennsylvania Pick 3 Combined Draws).  In cell F97 the missing box pairs that have NOT hit in the last 60 draws are 22 & 55

Below are the missing pairs for PA3D and PA3E.  Pennsylvania Pick 3 Midday (D) 55,88, and Pennsylvania Pick 3 Evening (E) 13,45,22,55,66
