Why doesn't anyone in New Jersey start a ticket buying service?

Sign me up, why pay $1.00 for a Power ball when I can spend $8.00 for one Power Ball.

Wow, What a great idea, people will be coming at you in droves to spend 7 extra dollars for one ticket, they will have no idea they are spending to much, you're going to be rich.

I'm so jealous.Green laugh

Where are you buying your PB tickets for $1.00? Shocked

 * you don't need to buy more tickets, just buy a winning ticket *

    What?

Oooops. I was kinda wondering the same thing but opted to just lay low on it. Good eye.

Small games, frequent wins, and regular payouts 'cause.....

If I could buy my ticket from any state I choose, Delaware looks pretty good. No state tax on lottery winnings and anonymity.  How long do you have to live there to establish residence?

        That's a "Cain't win" state though.

It's best to buy in New Jersey, you can't lose.  The New Jersey lottery has never sold a losing ticket, not once, ever.  Fact!

New Jersey won a 5+0 on Powerball last night.

I'm tellin ya, setting up a ticket buying service in this state would be very profitable!  Demand would be through the roof!

According to the DE lottery FAQ winners there are taxed...didn't give the rate.

The I/C tax there is 2.2% to 6.6%

However anyone can be anonymous in DE. that's why I buy my tix for the big JPs there.

Don't know how long residency takes.

Why not design software that allows anyone in any state to pick their numbers as if they were in another state, that way they trick the lottery into thinking they are from a winning state but just buying their tickets in a losing state.

It would actually be nice if you could buy tickets online from any state lottery you wanted.  New Jersey could cash in big on that!  I know I wouldn't even bother buying tickets in my state anymore, I'd just buy online from the New Jersey Lottery even if I had to pay a premium price to buy them.

Amazing. All these wins and NJ is still in the red along with Cali and Ill.
