That was a good one but it was taken down a couple of years ago.

I don't know fortunas but if you look for a calculator, I have something working and open on emuis.be/axbm.php .
It does pick 3 and 4. It is quick and easy. If you think that it can't, try: a=999, x=1, b=1, m=1000, format=000

      000 001 002 003 004 005 006 007 008 009

Can anyone explain how it worked in enough detail for me to replicate it?

          easy? no
The average Joe would not be able to use it unless familiar with the input language.

Quick, yes, and easy to use too. You only have to enter digits. I didn't ask you to program it.

It is average Joe input language, you enter combinations of digits and click on a button. I suggest that you don't ignore it if you want to become more than an average Joe.

There is another tool on another page. I have a pick 3 filter too, not connected to databases but with more functions. It is slowly becoming more. Later it will eventually be connected to charts on the top of all, and those are already on the website.

I believe that it was a kind of quick pick, kind of:
              1: do 10 times:
              2: println String.substring("00"+Math.Random(0,999),-3)

              or

              2: println format(R(0,999),"000")

              or

              2: println(R(0,999),"000")

              or

              ...

              or

              printr times:=10, format:="000", low:=0, high:=999

              or

              pt(10) "<div>{R(0,999,'000')}</div>"

Well, you kind of get it.

              Eventually you do:

              with Set
              .put(R(0,999)) until .size = 10
              end with
              Collection.printlns(10,Set,"000")

              Or

              ...

              .

Do a search for the la Fortuna thread.  The thread showed more than just one calculator it had several different systems and it was outstanding!

It is not a calculator but it is a filter.

I think that it didn't have any database connection. It isn't online anymore.

On another site appeared data filters. I guess that this was the end of it.

I allow special filtering, you hardly find that anymore. This would end in a professional pick 3 version. The trend for commercial and freeware goes to simplification for average Joe's.

                  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                  Joker,

the filters I have added to the calculator bring down the numbers to play.

The low high filter produces numbers with a combination of low (0,1,2,3,4) and high (5,6,7,8,9) digits.

The single digits filter eliminates the doubles and triples from the list.

The repeat one filter contains only of of the digits in the last draw.

The filters can be used in any combination.

                  I hope that helps.

                  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All of the above is covered in my filter.

The App is no longer online, but I found the LP post on this subject by Fortuna. There's 33 pages of it, so maybe someone can get some clues from reading them.

There were filters, widths, vetical, horizontal, vtracs, lottolaughs programs etc.  It was a great site.
