Got pulled away all day and just getting back. All the programs I have uploaded should be installed or copied

directly to your main drive. Newer versions of windows have funky ways of managing data files which creates

Ok, with all that said the programs should run on any windows OS XP and up. If the program fails to open and run

then it has to be some security setting blocking it or something is missing and windows needs to be updated. I don't

have a windows 10 system and as such can't offer much advice in that regard. After talking with Steve I decided to

release one more version of DMP with a option to add other games than PB and MM. The menu-2 options will be

done away with and the auto update is limited to just PB amd MM. Other games that are added will require the user

to use the manual update. I started to do this back around the first of the year but got busy on another project.

I think the DMP version that Steve provided links to was the DMP-BG version that's limited to just PB and MM so if

you are running a older state version you may want to keep it at least for now. Not sure when I will get the update

out but it should be in the next couple weeks. I don't use these programs anymore but get request all the time to

produce a version of DMP where the user can add state games.

If after setting up net framework and the programs are still not working then I don't have anything more to add

right now. I will see what I can find but running out of options. I stopped trying to keep up with all the latest

stuff from microsoft years ago.

I just maintain my codes and don't keep track on what was working years ago on version X after update Y. I've seen positive changes with the server I rent, the browser eventually is better too. I just would like to get the network spies blocked.

The version you sent me a link to is really really old, ver-3. I was sure I had send you a much newer version a

few years back. I can tell it's age by the number of numbers keys is 60 vs the newer version which goes to 100.

Your version should still work but wanted to let you know it's not really that useful as power ball and mega millions

both have more than 60 numbers. Below are pics of the version you sent me and the last full updated version of

DMP. I see the last time it was updated shows May of 2012 which is most likely the date I sent it to you. Anyway

I should have a last or final version finished in a couple weeks provided nothing else come up between now

and then.

I have an empty DMP-FL folder on OneDrive, I may have forgot to save. That one came from Box, sorry.

An update. The DMP software is still not working on the HP Pavilion. The HP support group are stumped. They referred me to their Smart Friend department. They are suppose to be their software gurus, but after working for an hour yesterday, he gave up and wanted to do some research. I showed him an image where the software worked in W10. He is suppose to call this morning and start again. If all fails, I will return the computer to Best Buy. I have learned from this, I can assure you there will never be an HP computer in my future. I am thinking it has something to do with the processor, AMD A8-7410 APU with AMD RADEON R5 GRAPHICS.

I don't have the custom Florida Lottery Fantasy 5 version of Digit Master Pro, but Digit Master Pro - Big Game and T-Lex (from the OLD-PROS.zip mentioned above) both run fine on my computer, which has an Intel 64-bit processor. I assembled this computer from parts of my own choosing, installed Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit originally, and upgraded to Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. DMP-BG and T-Lex are installed on my C:\ drive. I do not have QB64 installed.

If I remember correctly, a few users reported a similar problem as yours in the old "Digit Master Pro - Big Game download" topic, but don't recall if those users were able to resolve their problems...

I didn't have to change any computer settings before or after installation. They installed very smoothly on this computer and ran fine right out of the box. I installed using the defaults from the installers. If I remember correctly, the installers did not give me an option to change the installation path. Digit Master Pro - Big Game installed to "C:\DMP-BG" and T-Lex installed to "C:\T-LEX".

Have you looked at Event Viewer logs in your Windows 10 to see if there are any errors/warnings when you try to launch DMP-BG?

Guys

The programs always need to be installed directly to the drive and not inside another directory such as Program files.

The reason for this is because the programs have pre set internal drive paths. Later versions of windows copy some

files to different locations which can cause problems. When I build the setup file I normally block the option to install

to another location to prevent problems. The drive letter can be any drive on your computer just don't install it into

another directory. I always setup my hard drives into two or more partitions, the first is for the OS and the other is

for all my other programs. For instance, I have both C:\ and D:\ drive partitions on my hard drive and run the lottery

stuff off of D:\. I do this in case I need to reinstall windows which I can do without needing to back up all my stuff.

Until I set up a windows 10 computer I can't offer much in the way of support which is why I let the older programs

die off. Still working on the new release of DMP but I won't be doing anything other then adding the option to load

other games than power ball and mega millions. The new version will allow the user to load games of their choice.

Pick-4 to pick-6 number games with or without a bonus ball. Should be finished sometime in January if all goes well

for anyone still interested in the old program.

P.S. The menu-2 option/tools will be removed and I plan to replace them with some sort of steps/SC tool.

Thanks to both of you. Up and running. We need these computer gurus to explain why it works. My computer is a 64B Dell. Digitmaster doesn't update, but that's another story.
