I currently track the history of each draw seperately, one state at a time, one draw at a time, according to time of day. However, I have seen people who track Morning, Day, Evening, and Night altogether. I wanted to know how other here play and whether or not you think it really matters. Would merging the history of all draws for the state in question improve the ability to predict?

day and night together. It's like putting a bunch of x's instead of real numbers if you separate. Sometimes can be good. Not every number is significant. Patterns no matter how you look at them are still patterns. Nothing will change that. But if you have 3 patterns all pointing in the same direction, well it's happy time.

The way you are currently tracking (Day & Eve Separate) is most effective!

My guess is they each will give the same results, but I am going to try them both anyhow and let the actual results speak for themselves.

Ok I'll divide like you, let's see now this is for New York. and mind you it's just for the most recent numbers drawn. It's not tracking history on any level past a week ok.

Night. Day. Combined. All week combined

994. 015. 950. 909

757. 476. 610. 617

641. 581. 560. 516

I don't necessarily track probably the way you do, but I look at digits which obviously could be helpful in tracking as well. Let's just see if anything shows right off the bat. If not of course it could take longer which would tie into what your saying I believe.

441 for midday. So Night time digits had the 41 back pair exact which would pay 50 to 1. Night time numbers take this one at least.

I did a back test from March 24, 2008 till February 8, 2017 and for me, there isn't much difference. I used a quick, simple method of choosing numbers as a test so that I could compare the results when merged and unmerged. Just a 1% increase in WINS when using the merged history.

Aside from this I developed my own methods though and I haven't figured out a way to test it using my more involved method and as far as testing it with my main whole process, it won't be possible because right now that involves a combination of various methods and I wouldn't have the time but might try it out for some days during this week. But from the initial look it seems the merged version doesn't have the patterns that I look for. It looks more erratic. I could be wrong but it seems not to work out as well for me.

I've always wondered about that, but I have had success with tracking every one by the draw instead of alltogether.

When I started playing the lottery, I kept a record of all draws for all games I was interested in.
A big mistake but I didn't know any different at the time.
Lottery was new and it seemed plausible that a 'systems player' needed all of the available information.
I developed several workouts and created numerous tracking charts.
After many years and thousands of hours logging lottery integers I suddenly realized that
I only need the history for the games I play.
I selected the games: Daily 4/Day and Evening (separate workouts for each); Pick 3 Evening;
Texas Lotto Wednesday and Saturday (separate workouts); Texas Two-Step Monday and Thursday (separate
workouts); Cash 5/37 2 sets 6 days per week; Texas Triple Chance Monday only.
I play Mega Millions on Friday only.
All or Nothing and Powerball? No thanks!!
I, of course, don't play everyday. But when I do, the appropriate workout(s) are current.
Hard to believe but lot of folks believe the machines keep a record and know what is hot, cold, due, etc.
The fact is that the drawing machines have no memory. They don't know which integers exited the mixing vessel(s).
My opinion is that a player can pick and choose without harm, so long as there is consistency and the records are updated.
There are 4 Pick 3 drawings in Texas. I only care about the Evening draw. The other three, as well as the pretests, don't exist.
Each drawing is a separate event.
Folks who think there is a connection between drawings need to step back and give it more thought.
