  There probably are pick-3 and pick-4 players that made a few nice hits and used it to help them retire early, but the 50% edge prevents anyone from making a  living depending on winning those games. Casino games like Blackjack, Craps and Roulette all have edges under 6% and there is horse and dog racing or even Bingo with much better chances of showing nice profits.

  That being said, it's very possible that many lottery players make large enough profits pick-3 and pick-4 to supplement their incomes.

  Hey Lucky Loser :) lol of course wow, you've been dead on about politics. These numbers, when you first start playing every number seems new and interesting, but after a while it's just the same old same old. The level of fun and interest dissipates. And yeah I go too far sometimes, make things too complicated. I guess I'm beating a dead horse as my old coach used to say you shouldn't do. I really should've taken a break last year , but I didn't and now it seems I'm paying for it a little, because this year is a lot better. Just trying to get organized , gotta focus on the right things right now. Hope all is well with you

  Once I thought maybe it was possible to do this for like a full time thing. But it's hard to compare something that should be steady and familiar with something that isn't. But, Good luck nonetheless Guesswork

  I wouldn't call him a degenerate. Besides in terms of what BobP was referring to, yeah $80 a day, but in the end he got it all back at once. Can take care of a lot more with 25K at one time than waiting with 80 here and 80 there. Not to put anyone anywhere, but for NY players $80 a day is nothing. That's typical. Not a day goes by I don't see someone spending $50 a draw or even $140 a draw. I used to spend about $60 a day. ;)

  Pick 3 straight is hard enough but pick4 straight is downright impossible  Some might argue  well its just one more number  Well that one more number  is like picking a needle out of a haystack  If you get lucky you might hit a pick 4 straight once in every 10 yrs . Those so called  fakers that claim to hit pick 4 straight once a month or once a week for that matter are feeding you a line of sh

  I have period where I hit 7 day a week straight or box.

  My coworker once suggested i should quit and focus on lottery

  ..my thoughts were like healthcare, dental,retirement and 401k lives matters. lol

  Nope not quiting my early morning job to play lottery. Neither have I heard of any one doing it for p3/4.Jackpot win I will be out tho!!

  I'm seeing lots and lots of reasons why anyone that really does do well on either small game will remain tight-lipped...and these people do exist. Are there players that actually could quit their day/night job and pursue full time lottery gambling? Yes, and they're everywhere but, here's the deal. There's a certain type of people that may actually not like their job but, it pays decently, takes care of the bills, and there are co-workers whom they really like....aka a happy financial medium. I think most of us fall into this category. When you factor in this person being able master their Pick3/4 game and turn some real decent additional weekly disposable income, their mindset will altogether change regarding the cons of their day job. Let's plug in some quick, generic numbers and review.

  Monthly Salary - $3,000.00 before taxes, mortgage, insurance, car/truck payment etc. Do your own diligence with breaking it down into weekly or bi-weekly.

  Lottery Winnings Avg. - $1,000/month in profit 'after taxes.' (Had to put that in for disclosure purposes.)

  So, in this example, an additional $1K in the run of a month can make all the difference in the world. I mean, once you've paid either of the major obligations listed above, lottery winnings will do they heavy lifting and make up the difference so a person can breath a little easier. Until anyone can claim a jackpot win, the small games are the next BEST THINGS going in my honest knowledge. 

  'Now' money is always better than 'how' money when it comes to Pick3/4 vs. PB/MM's. All three are fun but, only two will let you get it done.

  I stopped visiting strip clubs. I'd rather spend my extra cash on hand by playing draw games rather than stuffing it down a g-string.
