  I know that many young men and women have quit high paying 6 figure income jobs to play poker for a living but do you know of anyone that quit their 9-5 to play pick 3 & 4?

  NO !!!   NOT  WISE !!!  In Fact, quite DUMB !!!  A job has advantages that playing the lottery full time does not offer - like Health Insurance !!!

  You would have to WIN Pick 3/4 regularly on a monthly basis to be able to afford Health Insurance !!!

  Interesting comparison, the main difference is this - At the end of the day Poker has at Least ONE big winner at each tournament. Not to mention all the lower prizes that are won. 

  Numbers (pick 3 & 4) doesn't have anything like that. 

  But there is nothing stopping someone from making enough to quit there job.  Just read the Lottery News forum and there is a story about people wining 100 times or more - so it appears it may be possible.

  Doesn't get much better than 9 to 5. Ever worked 8 AM to 1 AM for months? That's working!

  Professional poker players have to travel around a lot so it may not be conducive to holding a 9-5 job. I think they are often self employed beyond the poker playing.

  Ir was decided in a court case that poker is a game of skill, given a set number of people over the same time frame they will all get good and bad cards, the skill is in how they play them.

  Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners. 

  

  There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

  We get the gamblers brain when we win. How many people think "I'm playing with their money" at casinos when we win and end up losing it all back and then some. Same with playing the lottery, until you quit you are either ahead, at a loss or break even. A job gives you a pay check at the end of every week. The lottery is like a puzzle to me, sometimes the pieces fit just right and other times it never fits no matter what you try, but..... I like puzzles

  Look in the Systems and Pick-3 Forums and you'll find many LP members predicting lots of 3 and 4 digit numbers every day. Most of them don't post on the Prediction Boards, but I'm sure some of them pretend make a real good living playing lottery games.

  Even for those unable to play Pick-3/4 at a profit, the utility value of the occasional Straight win can mean a new appliance or set of tires for the price of Star Bucks on a daily basis.  Think of it like an up side down savings plan like the 2% cash back credit card that comes through at just the right moment.  Find a better day job.
