LP is winning from the traffic. Everyone else here, probably not.

One can learn a lot about the lottery, games, etc on LP. Great resource. However, in regards to winning, it comes down to statistics. Many hope to find a way to beat the odds. They won't barring some game glitch (ie. knowledge of a RNG flaw) or insider information (ie. location of top prize winners in instant packs).

Even if one finds a "system", the typical 40%-50% lottery house advantage for numbers games is a huge mountain to climb. Consider the difficulty players have profiting from Black Jack (21) that has a typical house advantage of around 2% for typical play (0.5% following basic strategy), and to -1% (to player's advantage) for card counting. And yet it's a challenge to come out ahead. The lottery is many, many times more difficult.

Even the worst casino games, including slots, are better than the lottery. Not to say one can't profit, but it will be near 100% a function of luck not skill. One can optimize their lottery payback / getting more playtime by game selection, wager amounts, etc ... in that regard, LP is very helpful.

Yo I've already proved that. I don't know why people don't listen. I mean yeah I guess but you should be talkin about how you think about when you bet. Otherwise the conversation really goes nowhere. So what's the point. How about where you playing? You can't just say one for all and be done with it. I don't think so. Let's get some action LP the legends are disappearing. What's left, Surveys? Come on

Hi,

If there was much greater civility, courtesy, and a common respect for others I would post more at the LP. The constructive atmosphere that used to be LP has long since disappeared. Todd has opted not to control it. So, I occasionally check in to see if there are any really original approaches to the lottery puzzle.

As far as the survey, I wanted to see the opinion stats to see if others had come to the same conclusion as I (maybe something will pop up at the LP that might help). Beware of those who claim they have found or have a winning system here (anyone for charades? *L*).

One last point, this is a public forum. Open to lottery officials and analysts to see if they need to make changes to their programs or lottery ball selection techniques.

I have to agree with you there is not much civility or positivity for that matter. But seriously no question I have. Not even a doubt. Problem is as other well known posters talk about is the profits. The betting side of it needs to be discussed because yeah you may win but how much does it cost to win? It needs to be thought about and remembered. Timing etc. Problem also is with lottery everyone looks at it like quick easy free money. Mistakes happen. But in order to really get down to it, you have to treat this 'game' like it's work, there's a lot of thinking understanding what's going on before you just pick a number. So in terms of that the word game is not really appropriate, because in order to win you have to treat it like it's work.. And well it's not really the same as work is it. It can be frustrating and sometimes exhausting soemtimes problematic everything is not in place everyday etc. You're not really interacting with people etc so you're really getting frustrated with yourself for no reason etc. At least with work you have a bad day or whatever you still make money and you still can come back the next day and hope things will change or fix it and let it go. Not so with the lottery, all the time spent if you mess up it's not as easy to come back from it the next day. So Todd yeah I mean at least he has created some interaction with people here and that's a good thing but still the game has to be treated more seriously imo. It's a problem with the game itself. But I suppose it's the nature as well I mean they are giving a chance at some serious turnaround with your dollars. But still what I said is the point. It needs to be treated seriously and carefully if you really want the dollars. Not everyone thinks of it that way. It's tough the whole idea of it because everyone thinks of it or looks at it differently

Wow JKING I said the exact same thing to myself two weeks ago about this being public and with lottery officials. When it was so much talk about triples coming in for mostly all states the other weekend. Well CT didn't make the cut. Instead they threw us with trips in the quad the following week and have been doing that ever since. Last trip in play four was on 3/11/17. This have been going for the last month with them in regards to many numbers. They throw that curve ball in it. I know if I was employed with them I would be analyzing this site all the time. Great observation to you.

Yo it doesn't matter that this is public. Those numbers are not set in stone. Analysis if you're talking about in terms of chances or probabilities or randomness are not set in stone although it is by nature common for us to think so. How pray tell would you think they would change their ball selection according to the discussions here? If you really believe that. They already randomly select which group that they use. They conduct pretesting. There is no interference involved whatso ever but yet the paranoia still holds it's tight grip over everybody. Believe me if your thinking meaning anyone's is not right then no matter what you won't win, you can't just point the finger and blame although it's convenient I would imagine. That's just another distraction that no one should care about because it interferes with your thinking of the game and again makes talking about things that matter vs things that don't matter a waste of time.

It is human nature to put meaning to what we see. Just because we don't see it before with predicting numbers doesn't mean we don't know. 'The nature of the game' We all analyze what we see everyday. To bring paranoia or anything negative like that just adds in my opinion an unclear path in thinking. So what's the point of it if you really want to call yourself a winner based on your own methods or methods of thinking or analysis. So yeah survey I understand what your thinking is etc fine sorry, but I will re-reiterate No question No doubt about it. I know that top comment wasn't directed at me I never asked anyone for anything and some have 'offered' based on things that worked out for them based on something I said. But you know talk is cheap. Don't waste my time I don't care Money is an easy God. Easy God's disappear eventually. I'm not a liar a cheater a dishonest person, so I know that was more general statement and that's good because of course it's true etc.

More to the point, like two thoughts getting mixed is really what I'm talking about. It's the Nature of the Game. Not anything else. That's all. Like I've become pretty good but you know things move fast And each direction does have to start anew. So i guess I'm at that point or whatever. A little weird in thinking in terms of. Ok anyways thanks fo letting me talk .

mostly just sit back, watch and listen. They're in it to make money, just like we are. We've

got some pretty smart people here. If every one here is talking about triples being due, do

you really think they are going to let them fall and pay out boat loads of money?

Have you ever tried to play a number at the store and been told, it's sold out? Why do they

do that? So they don't break their budget.

They know what numbers are played long before the drawing takes place. Do you think they

will let sold out numbers win every time? Nope.

It's sort of like a professional sports team sending out scouts to check out the competition for

an upcoming game. And they're scouting us, believe that.

Here is a comment from the Md lottery website. Note the contradictions. Games of chance, the House will always win, virtually impossible to "rig" a drawing.

Question- If it's a game of chance and it's virtually impossible to rig, then why does the house always win?

Trends and patterns are always easy to see after they have run their course.
The hard part is spotting them soon enough to take advantage before they end. When will they end? Nobody ever knows. You just have to hope it doesn't end right after you spot it.

Ok I'll listen but thats like what I said and that has nothing to do with what I said you assuming to understand motives the state always pays max out on triples because peiple play them everyday and they get sold out. Your using what i said everybody thinks diff. Everyone plays different like everybody plays the same number when they dont so that 'theory' can not be proven and is just speculation. In other words a distraction. Who cares if they r in it to win it then who cares let them they got some good stuff here. Still nothing proven on how they would go about doing this intentionally and on purpose on a day to day daily game. Nuhunh I don't think so. you just speculating based on misinformation on your part. Which is what I said a distraction. You're being too general which has nothing to do with me. Mixing two thoughts together which is what I said. Anyways
