There have been lots of people contacting me privately, telling me that they are not happy with the new Powerball website, but that there appears to be no contact information shown.

To contact MUSL about the new website, you can use the e-mail address letters@musl.com.

Personally I am not happy that they have removed all of the winners-by-state information, and many other people have voiced this same complaint. Other complaints have centered on other types of data that have been removed — like all vestiges of Mega Millions being removed — and that the site is hard to find stuff on.

What do you think of the new Powerball website?

If you're unhappy with the stuff they have removed or anything else, I would encourage you to reach out to MUSL at the e-mail address above. The more people providing feedback the more you will be listened to.

When I opened the site up this morning, I honestly that it was an advertisement for a colonoscopy or an AARP promotion on Metamucil, soooooo I closed it out and reopened and it went to the same darn thing again !!

Took it off my favorites,did a search..opened it again and low-n-behold..it was the same darn thing !!! I am thinking, " smooth move Exlax, how did that work out for you"

As far as the New PB website ????

I would rather clean up lawn ornaments from my German Shepherd

I thought the same thing. Lol Since we are a watchdog group, let's complain and get it fixed.

The pretest links are gone for both Powerball and Mega Millions. I liked to use the pre-tests to pick my numbers--it enhanced my delusions of winning. The mega millions pretest has been gone for months. I would have to google "mega millions pretest" which brought up a 2011 Lottery Post thread asking about the pretest. I'm going to email Powerball to see if I get anywhere.

As a foreigner I like the updated faq:

The new official Michigan Lottery Website is worse too.

They want to de emphasize the fact that there are fewer and fewer jackpot winners and the jackpots are taking longer to be won.

While I don't know about the other states I can tell you that, before Michigan removed its information, we here have been in the Lucky for life game for over 3 years and there has never been a top prize winner in Michigan.

If I were running the lottery I wouldn't want anyone to notice that nobody was winning either.

Another example is the 75/15 Mega Millions. Michigan had 1 JP winner for the entire run and that was near the end for 21 Million annuity for beating 260 Million to 1 odds. Since the matrix changed to 75/15 in 2013 that was the only JP that was won in Michigan. Consider that, 5 years and one jackpot!

Then you have to consider that, overall, there were fewer JP winners throughout the 44 states too.

If they left that information on the site then more and more people would eventually notice how bad the games have truly gotten.

Powerball probably decided to take the info off so fewer people would notice how bad Powerball has gotten also.

So I took a gander at the PB website again and as I am scrolling down the page to be educated, I get to the part where it says How TALL $40 Million dollars is compared to the height of the Smithsonian. COOOOL right ?

Hey I know.......Wanna use the slider to see what half a Billion is like ??? ....Bring it !!!...

Just below that, In Spanish no less, I find the following:

I am just guessing ...." No more TV dinners, Go order a pizza with Vedalia Onions".

And to top it off.....there is this absolutely cute lil child...god bless her little heart

With her middle finger up her nose to about the first joint..... Jaysus.... ... you just can't make this stuff up

It's the gift that keeps on giving..... Thank you Powerball.... Haven't laughed this much in weeks.

They'll probably do the same to the Mega Millions site.

Improvements aren't always improvements.

Each MLB ream site used to have its own persona. The KC Royals site had a feature that let you see the field view from any seat in the stadium. That was then, now all the teams are clones of MLB.com with different team colors and names thrown in.

The Illinois lottery used to have a feature on its site where you could plug in sets of numbers to see if they'd ever hit. Actually tjhat was quite an education, when the Pick 5 game was 5/39 instead of the current 5/45 you could literally make up different sets for hours and hours and realize that hitting more than two was rare.

None of that is on that site anymore.

Sadly it seems that MUSL and state lottery sites have went from "info" to "promo".

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

I designed my own website for my food business and can honestly say that I have done a better job on my site than the new PB website.

Someone at MUSL goofed when they said...."Let's change the website."

The new Powerball website is slowing to a crawl this morning. They had done such a nice job with the old website making it very quick, even during high traffic periods. What a shame, hopefully they will fix (and load test) the new website soon.
