Since we have such a large percentage of members viewing the forums on a mobile phone, I wanted to draw your attention to the latest feature for the mobile website.

Based on feedback provided by YOU, the Lottery Post mobile website can now browse threads in reverse order, meaning you can scroll through the posts in any thread with the latest post appearing first and the first post at the bottom.

When I asked for feedback on what to add next for mobile users, this was the #1 request.

To view a thread in reverse order, instead of tapping on the topic, you just swipe the topic to the right, like in the screenshot below. (Tapping the topic will display the thread in the same chronological order as before.)

You can see in the screenshot that I have started swiping the New Jersey thread to the right. When I finish swiping, it takes me to the New Jersey thread just as if I tapped it, except it will be shown in reverse order.

You may also notice in the screenshot that premium member names are now shown with the proper highlight behind the username. This was another improvement installed today.

As always, you can see a list of the latest changes to the mobile website by tapping on the "user" icon in the upper-right, and then selecting "What's New" in the slide-out menu.

Please feel free to continue providing constructive feedback for the mobile website! We tend to prioritize improvements based on the most highly-requested items. (Comments like "I hate the mobile website" are ignored as they are pointless, so if you hate mobile websites, stop using your phone.)

Thanks Todd, it's funny you bring this up because within the last week or two weeks maybe longer, I noticed that sometimes when I was going on to LP, I would get another option with a page that didn't look familiar, so I didn't know what was going on until now.

As far as suggestion goes, may I suggest that if it's possible, can you make it so that when I copy a link, when I try to paste it that it will actually work? Instead of pasting, a wide vertical rectangular window comes up with cells and and tables and all that stuff, I've seen that table before when I want to resize an image but I cannot paste a link. In fact I can't paste anything not just a link but text even.

If it's pasting crap into the editor, then it's obvious that you are copying the content/link from the page of another website. Or perhaps from a program or word processor. Use the Paste as Plain Text button in the text editor to strip out all the other non-text/non-link garbage when you paste.

In other words, ever hear the term "garbage-in, garbage-out"? That means the editor can only paste whatever you are telling it to paste. When you are copying from the other website, you are copying more than just a simple link or text. You are copying all the hidden HTML code, along with your link and/or text. The Paste as Plain Text button strips out all the hidden garbage.

I always recommend that people set the Paste as Plain Text option as the DEFAULT for the text editor, so that it's not necessary to keep turning it on before each paste. The option to set it as the default is in the Account Settings page, in the Options menu. I always leave it on myself.

Thank you Todd, I will start using that option. By the way, it was mostly just YouTube links that I press on until it got highlighted and then it would ask me if I want to copy and I will press on copy.

For YouTube links, don’t paste the link — use the Insert Video button and then paste the URL into the space where it asks for the video link. That will insert the video directly into the page.

Thanks but can you fix the option to only full desktop website. I have deleted cookies numerous times and I’m still taken back to the mobile site when I select the option to not use the mobile website only the desktop version of site from mobile phone.

My bad, I don't know why I brought up the YouTube links because I already know how to do that. I don't know what I was thinking.

What I meant to say is that whenever I copy and paste text from somewhere else and want to paste it here where I am writing now for example, when I touch my phone screen, I don't see the little paste box pop up, it only shows the cell column with length width and all that stuff.

I've already tried to upload to snapshots from two different websites, but they are both rejected by the editor here. Basically it looks like a vertical rectangular box that says cell, column, width, and little tiny boxes connected to each other, almost like graph paper.

I'll try to do it from another website. Thanks

Imgur address doesn't get accepted by LP editor here. I don't know of any other places that I've already tried to make it work.

This is a random photo posted from an imgur address. I simply clicked the Insert Image button in the toolbar, and then pasted the URL there.

It works. If it doesn't work on your computer or phone, then the problem is on your computer or phone. Or you're not using the Insert Image button. (i.e., you're doing it wrong.)

Well thanks for trying anyways. Before my laptop died a few months ago, I could put in the addresss into the insert picture part, and I had no problem at all, but for some reason my mobile device doesnt work correctly. However I don't understand why because I can easily post a YouTube link address in the blog forum or anywhere else on LP, but I can't paste text, or post a picture.

I'm not sure what the problem is because my phone works fine. I simply press down on the link address and then it gives me the option to copy, then I get a little message at the bottom of my screen saying copied to clipboard, then I come to this site and inserted where it's supposed to be inserted but it doesn't work LOL

So I found a workaround on how to post text because before I was getting some kind of graph looking thing with cell column thingy...To show you what that thing I'm talking about looks like I'm going to post a link to show you a picture of what I see when I try to paste text into the editor area, I get this,
