  Now that both Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots have been won and the jackpots are low, will you still buy at least one ticket or will you wait until the jackpots get bigger again?

  There have been many times where someone won a low jackpot right after both jackpots had been won.

  I feel that you can't win if you don't play, so I have one ticket for MM and one for PB.

  I am always in the game, one line only. Self pick combo. MM promises another JP before the end of the year and I think it will be won in November then it will roll to a mega sized one for January.

  I am kind of a fan of letting the PB get to $100 Million Cash value mark... MM to get up to $100-$150 Million Cash value range. Can depend if someone I participate with, asks when the advertised annuity is over $100 Mill or maybe buying a gift/Christmas present if the jackpots are below the $100 Million mark.

  No.  I'll wait a bit. I did notice that if it rolls it goes up to $52 mil instead of $50 mil  -- slightly above the anticipated jackpot.  Unfortunately for Californians, the second prize is down to $174k and <$100k.

  Easy Money!! I do not care what the jackpot amount is. 

   I only buy MM & PB tickets once every five weeks. So I play advance play for both games.

  people we've talked with say they wait till it get to a Billion now.

  it's too expensive to play.

  the kwik trip store clerk where we stop frequently says that's what she's been hearing, too.

  now the two big time lotteries have set the bar above of a Billion, eh, the Million dollar prize ain't so attractive anymore.

  we agree, wait; let the Jackpot Junkies pump it up.

  if it gets won before then, good for us, we saved a lot of money.

  If you Won $40 Million Dollars and opted for Cash: If you opted for $100 bills, we'd be talking about 880 Pounds of Money to carry home!

  880 pounds minus 369 pounds to cover the taxes. That would leave you with only 510 pounds!

  Ugh.  I was in a good mood the other day and thought I'd pick up a couple of tickets.  They had delivered a new and improved terminal & scanner, etc.  You wd think that if they were going to drop off new equipment & take the old they could have had someone connect it but noooooo. 

  So, the next day I ask if they are selling tickets & he said sure. But he couldnt get the machine to work. In his defense, it did look complicated. No more pushing an icon that looks like the game you want & the # of tickets. It was all in black and white.

  This morning I asked if the machine was working and he said yes!  But the screens were slow and kept freezing so he gave up. 

  It amazes me how incompetent this state is most of the time.

  The jackpots are zipping along.  If MM rolls tonight, it goes up to $70  and the PB will roll to $71 or $40.6 M cash.  Not bad.
