You think maybe that's why Hawaii doesn't have a lottery

Maybe they're paranoid about all the potential payouts they'd have to deal with, all things considered!

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Missouri won a $50 million dollar MegaMillions jackpot 3-12-19. Last time I check they're not near a body of water. Don't look like all birthday numbers either.

Indiana still leads in PB winners, smaller population than states mentioned so not number of entries for Indiana.

Part of that is that Indiana has been selling Powerball tickets for as long as the game has existed. Most of the larger states were in Mega Millions territory until 2010, when the two games agreed to overlap.

Simple answer: You not large enough. If l said " close to water" someone could say, l was holding a bottle of water when l handed over my lottery play slip to the clerk.
