This idea originated in the last decade with Win D about 2007/8.
It's simple. Find the sets that have been out the longest and make your choices from those sets. More often the winning number will not come from the longest out set but from the second to fifth set in the list.
It looks quite similar to what I posted with the Cash5.....

You have the DR (draw, I went back to December 2016 here), N1-N6 (using a 6 number set), SN (total singles), DB (total doubles), TR (triples), % for the singles and doubles and LN, the longest the set has ever been out, and CR, how long it is currently out.
Tonight's winning number in Texas Pick 3 was 601, which appears in our third set.
Does this work every time? No, sometimes sets get stuck and repeat, or a long out set skips its turn.
And if I remember back then the biggest complaint is the number of combinations required to cover 5 or six number sets. Of course, no matter how you play you have to whittle down the sets so that's a moot point.
So there you go a Pick 3 system using sets to help determine which numbers are mostly likely to hit.
(I may even adapt the longest out to the Cash5 stuff).
