You're the one who started the thread, and from the very first post (yours, in case you're not sure) it's been extremely clear that what you're really interested in is your bizarre delusion that printing the time on the tickets is part of some scheme to control the outcome.

What throws off the "point" is that you ramble on and on, with much of it being incoherent, and when somebody asks you to explain what you've said you don't. If you're actually trying to make a point you're just not any good at it.

I'll say it again, just in case the third time is the charm and some part of your brain has a functioning connection to reality: the lottery knows what time you try to buy a ticket even before the ticket is printed. They could hardly print the time, or any other information, if they didn't. Whatever the lottery might be doing with the data they collect they can do whether they print that information on the ticket or just print a serial number and/or barcode. If the lottery is interested in the specific fraud of people claiming ownership of a ticket they didn't buy they'd be better off not printing the time on the ticket. The only people helped by having the time printed on the ticket are people who have access to the ticket but not to the information in the lottery's database.

What matters is that it's about the lottery's ability to recognize patterns relating to where and when some players buy tickets. If the real winner had been some guy who bought 1 or 2 QP's wherever it was convenient to also stop and buy gas I doubt they'd be able to recognize purchases by the same guy because so many people buy 1 or 2 QP's at the same place they stop for gas. Or to buy milk.

Even if they can manage to track the purchases of individual players who only buy 1 or 2 QP's, it's still about their ability to distinguish one player from another. That's a completely separate issue from analyzing the numbers being played by any particular player, and that's still a separate issue from using that analysis for anything nefarious. If it was coherent I might stay amused enough to read somebody's description of how the lottery would do that, but what I'd really be interested in is seeing a rational thought on why they would use any such analysis to discriminate against particular players. There's no question that if the lottery could somehow prevent any particular number or combination of numbers from being selected and had enough time they could avoid drawing a jackpot winner, but you've got to be stupid, paranoid, or delusional to think they'd mess with their giant cash cow by screwing with a game that they win every single time.

It takes a truly special kind of stupidity, paranoia, or delusion to think the lottery would not only screw with their cash cow, but that they'd combine that capability with the ability to track individual players to prevent particular players from winning. Especially when that video makes it very clear that despite the ability to connect a particular purchase to a particular player the lottery has no idea who the player actually is unless the player comes to them.

I can see how some may think that they've succeeded in their attempt of discrediting my position of suspicion... but the FACTS bare out that my keen reasoning suspected such capabilities of the lottery BEFORE the video was brought to my attention...

Nobody stands better to assess MY lottery results than ME...Your experiences may be different..

Ok Stat$talker, help me (and others) to understand your concern over timestamps on lottery tickets, mainly PB and MM.

You are questioning the cut-off time for purchasing PB and MM tickets. Is that correct? (FYI, cut-off times are NOT the same across the U.S. as you assumed in one of your earlier posts.)

So now you are concerned that the lottery is looking for players, such as yourself, so they (the lottery) can analyze their plays, looking for any strategy that may be a threat to the lottery's profits. Am I still on the right track here?

What exactly are you concerned about? So what if the lottery is analyzing certain tickets and how the numbers may have been chosen. What is the problem there? It could be they are just making sure the game(s) are staying within the laws of randomness. If they spot some mathematical genius (I'm not speaking of you here) and their strategy may be beating the odds (can't happen in a true random game), they now know there may be a problem with their game. Believe it or not, as others have stated here, the lottery (the entity) wants to run a clean, honest game that allows people to win. The odds alone are enough to ensure they (the lottery) never lose.

Do you have any idea how much security, accounting, and auditing is present in each and every drawing? IF the lottery was using any data or performing any act for the wrong reasons, you can be sure it would be dealt with immediately.

and , No you aren't on track, but it's not your fault ..if you had seen my posting of my cash3 ticket , that had no" time of purchase" printed on it, then you wouldn't have assumed that I'm only talking about MM, PB tickets... when in fact it's ALL tickets.. at least in GA..simply because they weren't always on them...

Lo and behold, a member brought a video to all our attention, that clearly proves, that Lotteries indeed do have the capability of doing exactly what I suspected, even though members called me just about everything , except a Child of GOD for merely having the suspicion.. LOL.. even though in the video's case, it was for good..but what about the dark side of such capabilities?

Common deduction SHOULD tell ANYONE that whatever the commensurate time is in ALL time zones across the US proportionally , is their equivalent cutoff time.. If California is 4 hrs behind the East Coast's time zone.., then their equivalent cutoff time is the noted 4 hs BEFORE the East Coast's...!

It's like saying to someone in your presence, "Drive me down to the corner store".. If you have to explain to them, your request involves putting the car key in the car's ignition switch, cranking the car... etc, then it's pretty obvious, that person is UNFIT to operate a Motor Vehicle..!!

The extreme data I referred to is the abnormal massive jump in Averages reported by the Software I use, "Lotto Pro"

...that's what I meant by "having a problem with the results".. if I've played, my tickets riddled with what I've termed the "ole 1 digit away disease".. resulting in the jackpot being won elsewhere...sometime a very low jackpot.!

Answer to Q1.

It may be used to pick whichever numbers that weren't picked, which amounts to tampering with the product bought AFTER purchase...in this case it happens to be a"chance"..they certainly have enough time and capabilities to do so... suspicion of rigging has been expressed before by members here, so what's so incredulous about ME having the same suspicions?

Answer to Q2.

I can't say definitely whether or not the lottery ALLOWED " others" to win ..instead of me, but for sure, I think they'd rather see that much money in the hands of some unsuspecting SCHMUCK ( got that from garyo1954 LOL) than see someone LIKE me, because I'm sure there are others, with the Mathematical knowledge that presents a consistent jackpot threat win it....

So, it's not about the Lottery's take of the pie ..because, if I can get as close as I do with $10. or $20. Dollars....... What do YOU think I could do with Millions?... I think it HAS occurred to them...

You certainly think highly of your math skills, and if you are as good as you say you are, why in the world would you need to spend millions to "break the bank" (again, my words). I say neither of those are likely to happen on a daily basis for any length of time. That is not something the lottery itself would ever allow. It could however be done by lottery employees, but in no way approved of by lottery itself. Even then, it's quite a risk to take and most likely would get corrected almost immediately.

So it seems to me that you are seeing the lottery as having the potential to operate in an illegal manner, and that you, or anyone with math skills (there are several of us here) are at risk of having our tickets analyzed, looking for any suspicious math that could lead to a winning ticket. This is all brought to light due to the timestamp being on the ticket. Is that about right?

I'm not peeing on you or your parade. I'm just trying to understand why anyone would think the lottery needs to operate in a manner that changes the outcome of drawings and marks some people as threats with their knowledge and use of math to play the lottery. I will agree with you that math can and does give us an opportunity to make better choices when choosing our numbers to play, but to date I personally know of only 1 person who was able to use his skills to win a jackpot.

I have two very good books on probability in my bookshelf:
- Probability: An Introduction with Statistical Applications
  Author: John J. Kinney
  Publisher: John Wiley & Sons, Inc.; 1997
- Introduction to Probability and Statistics: Principles and Applications for Engineering and the Computing Sciences
  Authors: J. S. Minton and Jesse C. Arnold
  Publisher: McGraw-Hill; 1986
These are college-level textbooks I picked up at a garage sale some years ago. Excellent reference books, and yet nothing in them about the reliability of using Lotto Pro with 50 past drawings to predict future drawings, or any lottery prediction software. In fact these books and any other "good book on probability" will take it as a given that a lottery is random and unpredictable.

What books on probability are you referencing? if you don't actually have one, I suggest either of these two which can probably be found used and cheap on Amazon or eBay. The chapters on continuous distributions require knowledge of calculus, but the chapters on sample sizes and confidence testing are accessible enough to someone with a good grasp of combinatorics and algebra.

Well, Lotto Pro is just Lottery Software..

I'm pretty sure you won't find a Statistics Book that will reference it...

A company by the name of Data Solutions wrote it ($29.95).. located in Fla...a trial version is downloadable.. just Google it...

Which may be one of the reasons Florida's Fantasy 5 never gets above $300,000 or so,.. for 2, 3 winners hit it every other day , if not everyday.. 5/36 Matrix...

There's a lot of things I've come to know about the Software that's NOT in its Manual..

But it's my application of both Lotto Pro & Probability on any Game that gets me within statistical range of what's predicted...Yes , I know Lotteries are random,.. But Probability is the intangible yardstick that measures random things!

The book I've studied from was written by a couple of Georgia State University Professors..

1. "Business Statistics",Third Edition Daniel/Terrell..

2. "Probably Guide to Gambling" by C. Barboianu...Infarom,Craiova Publishing

I have all the wheels from Bluskov's pick-5 & pick-6 books inputed into Lotto Pro...which took some doing...!!!... Good Luck..!'

I have absolutely no proof for this Statement but that is consistent with what has been presented here by the Stat$talker.

Given the Nature of the Responses to questions and criticism in these thread, My theory is this.
