To be clear, I joined this forum because it seemed like a positive place to discuss a common interest, lottery games, and it appeared to be well run. The new rating system destroys that. It's already begun.

I do want to thank you for this site in general. I think the new rating system is a mistake but overall you have done a great job here and it was fun for me while it lasted. Kudos for that.

I agree reddog... I've NEVER been concerned about what others say and or think when I know that I'll never see them in person. As long as I'm winning the -100 isn't going to take the money away

Thanks for mentioning spite ratings. There are a few here who just can't bring themselves to give any thread a 5 rating. Also in some cases it's not the thread that gets a low rating but the person who started it.

I'm a wee bit leery of this new system thinking it will only bring out more spite ratings.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

There's a heck of a lot more positive people here than negative people, so if the positive people get engaged and upvote other positive comments, there is no way that small number of negative people can take over. It's when good people wring their hands and go silent just because of one negative person, that's when it gets bad.

There are negative people all over the internet. Don't let that fact prevent websites like Lottery Post from implementing features that can be helpful for people.
