Well I just came back from the store... I've got 22 lines workin' tonight. I bought twenty of them and two were Free.
I tweaked my set of 18 that I built yesterday, I changed out a couple of numbers. I toyed with the idea of buyin' a ten line ticket for the next five days because I have the cash between my FF5 winnings and my Left Right Center winnings. But I decided against doing that because I'd be stuck with the set of 18 I chose today for the next five days. I like the flexibility to be able to adjust a few numbers in my set of 18 if I want to.
My guess is there'll be a few Free Tickets in my future but no cash. But I gotta try anyway...maybe I'm on the front end of a hot streak. G5

Sometimes I ask myself why do you so this? You know... I post all this good stuff about FF5.
I've even asked myself why did I decide to become a very knowledgeable person with regard to playing online lottery games. (I dont consider myself an "expert" so I wrote "very knowledgeable" instead) The short answer is because I'd love to know what it feels like to win a big pot of money, not to mention knowing what it feels like to spend a large amount of money on what amounts to a dream/fantasy. (Buy and renovate a cabin on a lake in the woods of New England)
People will think I'm nuts but I really don't care about winning millions of dollars. It'd be life changing if that happened but I'm not sure I want to change my life all that much. I would enjoy taking the quality of my life up a notch and winning a FF5 jackpot of for instance $190,000 which would accomplish that goal nicely. And another thing about winning millions of dollars is that I'd have a whole new set of problems on my hands. Problems that I don't have now. Everybody thinks it's easy to effectively manage millions of dollars, but I'm here to tell you because you've never done it before that it's not. It's very easy to mismanage and lose a ton of money. That's been done many times in the past. Remember The Phil Donohue Show? He had a show where he had a group of multimillion dollar lottery winners on his stage. One woman who won 6 million dollars (as an annuity paid out over twenty years of $300,000 each year before taxes) out spent that yearly payment in about one years time. She spent so wildly that she said she couldn't get any money from each years disbursement for the next 8 or 9 years. How nice. Knowing that you have an annual income of 300 grand and you cant take a nickel of it for the next nine years until you fix the problem that you created. Brilliant.
But enough of that... I do this because I like studying the numbers and seeing what my software reveals to me that is otherwise invisible. And oh yeah, with a little luck maybe I'll get that cabin in the woods. My motivation is also borne out of the fact that I was never really an "expert" on anything. I went to college, graduated with a BA and joined IBM where I spent the following 32 years. It wasn't all bad. I got to do and see a few cool things, I had a very nice house, two cars in the driveway and my three kids got to go to college. But 32 years at IBM wasn't all peaches and cream either. Corporate politics were everywhere. Because I opted out of playing politics, I paid dearly in terms of career enhancement. I also chose my family as my first priority and IBM management frowns on that. They'll tell you that they don't, but their actions speak much louder than their words. My wife had an excellent job. She had a bigger paycheck than I did so that allowed me to thumb my nose at some IBM managers that I worked for. One manager I had was annoyed at me because he knew I lived in a nicer house in a more upscale/expensive neighborhood than he did. He never met my wife and he had no idea what she did for a living so it confounded him as to why I was living better than he was. "Tough shixt on him" I always used to say, and it wasn't my fault that he bought a plain house in a neighborhood that was average at best. If he didn't know any better than to not buy where he did, whose fault is that??? I heard through the grapevine that he had once said about me "I know how much he makes and he cant afford that house in that neighborhood. I make more than he does and I cant afford to live in that neighborhood."
But ya know what? I actually was able to extract some revenge on that moron. His wife had a real estate license and she sold real estate part time. When it came time to sell our house, the market was very bad/slow. I called her and asked her if she'd list the house and she jumped on it. I knew she'd have a very hard time selling it, and if she actually did find a buyer, I wasn't going to accept one thin dime less than what it was listed for. I did that because we didn't have to sell the house, and I knew if she found a buyer she and her husband weren't going to make a gosh darn dime! She listed it for three months without having one open house and she didn't even bring one customer to show it! In her defense the market at that time was awful, so I knew she wasn't going to sell it. Of course my former manager (I didn't work for him when his wife listed our house) was drooling about what he was going to spend her commission money on. That fool actually told a few friends of mine that still worked for him what he was going to do with the money! They came running to me to tell me what that idiot had said.
Today, my wife and I are retired and living on Florida's Suncoast. We have a newly built home that we're the first owners of. It's in a great neighborhood and we absolutely love it. We're pretty happy these days. But I still wanna get that cabin in the woods. I Google everything and anything and I'm learning something new every day. These days I've been Googling the crap out of 'Private Equity' because our son just got a new job in Manhattan (NYC) at a Private Equity firm. I had no idea what Private Equity was, so to Google I went. That kid is doing well...and I mean VERY well. Google it and you'll see. G5
Just to add something else to my long winded post above, it wasn't the first time that I encountered an IBM manager that couldn't understand how I could afford the house that I owned.
We wanted to build a house and I was aware of the subdivision of new upscale homes where we eventually built our house. I also knew that the builder was an independent business man - a general contractor that hired subcontractors to do the actual work. This was in the mid-1980's and he wasn't a corporate builder building hundreds of homes like happens these days. He had just three or four homes under construction at one time. I was told that he wouldn't sell just a building lot in his subdivision. Rather he would only sell you the land and build the house on it for you as a packaged deal.
My wife's brother knew that builder personally. At a family get together my brother in law told me he had been talking to that builder and that the builder told him he was cash strapped... The banks wouldn't lend him any more money, and the subcontractors he hired were after him for past due payments for work they had done for him. He told my brother in law that he might have to "sell a couple of lots" to get back on track financially. My wife's brother said "Now might be a good time to approach him about just buying a building lot" which is exactly what I did. The builder didn't know I was married to the sister of the guy he had told his financial troubles to. I made him a low offer on a lot, he countered with a higher number, we eventually split the difference and I bought a lot in that fancy neighborhood for a fantastic price.
We contracted with a different builder and work began on our new house. One Saturday I was at the house while it was under construction and a car pulled up and a guy got out of it. I recognized the driver from IBM, and I also knew that he had no idea who I was. He was a second line manager (a manager of managers) and his reputation was that he had a hugely overblown ego. Into the house he comes. I was painting a raw sheet rock wall in one of the bedrooms. He stuck his head into the bedroom and said; "Hi. Do you work for the builder of this house?" I replied that I did not.
"Well, this is sure going to be a nice house. I wouldn't mind making an offer on it." I said "Ya cant. It's already sold." He asked how I knew that and I think that was because he thought I was a lowly painter working as a subcontractor for the builder. I said "Because it's mine." The shocked look on his face told me everything I needed to know about him. "YOU own this house?" I said "Yup" He says where do you work? I say IBM. Now he's absolutely dumbfounded.
He finally found a few words to say. "Where do you work in IBM and who do you work for? What do you do?" So I told him. He couldn't believe it or even understand it. I said to him "Why are you so surprised??" He says "Oh. I'm not surprised. Just curious is all." His face was beet red from embarrassment.
What is it about some people that they automatically assume because they have a bigger paycheck than you do that you can't possibly afford something that they can? How would he even know if I was a lottery jackpot winner or I had inherited a good size chunk of money? Up until the day I retired I'd see that moron in the IBM cafeteria or pass his idiot a$$ in the hall. One time I saw him he said "If ya ever want to sell that house just let me know! OK?" I wanted to tell him "You cant afford what Ill ask for it you lame brain" but discretion is the better part of valor so he got off easy. G5

Are you saying we shouldn't play 22-24 or 14-16? I mix up my numbers from past drawings and the ones that have hit the most.
No. What I usually do/say is which numbers to I like to pick/play. That said, there are times when I'll single out a number not to play. I wasn't singling those numbers out as not to be played.
Last night: 2 20 21 27 30
2/odd 3/even, sum is 100 almost in the middle of the sums sweet spot range, 2 same last digits, one adjacent - #30, no repeater, all five were from within the last 10 draws. That was the 43rd hit of 2022 for #27 and it took the hits lead. The Twenty's Number Group has now has 13 hits this month and is pulling away from the other groups. The trend of The Twenty's continues on from last month. The Twenty's and The Teens will always have the most hits each year with over 500 hits each. It's simply a matter of which one will it be. The Singles and especially the Thirty's just dont have enough numbers in them to have the most hits. Concentrating your picks on those two groups makes a ton of good sense. (No wonder #23 & #27 are this years hit leaders) Yet #35 has been hot for three years and #36 snuck up behind #'s 23 and 27 and tied them for the hits lead until last night when #27 pulled ahead.
All the characteristics of last night's winning combo are normal/typical. BTW there are some other characteristics that can be measured like high numbers vs low numbers, odd/even bias etc. I can see them in my software but trying to pick a set of five numbers that fits nicely into each and every category will drive you crazy. Hard to do so I dont try it. I had only two of the five winning numbers in my set of 18 numbers that I chose to play yesterday so the best I could do is win a Free Ticket, which I won three of them. There's something I've been thinking about and have wanted to post about but I kept forgetting about it until now.
Mathematician's will tell you the lottery is completely random and that you cannot predict numbers with any certainty. I agree with them. That statement is true in the theoretical world of numbers that they live and operate in.
So why do I think I can use lottery software to my advantage and maybe win a jackpot? The reason is because we're living in the real and most importantly physical world. Ball and drum machines made by man with colored ping-pong balls with numbers painted on them (also man made) bouncing around inside that man made machine is where we move from the theoretical word to the physical real world. It's a game changer for me. I see things using my software that happen regularly, and some of those things should not have happened at all. They wont ever happen if you listen to the math majors.
For instance since FF5 began in July of 2001 (7,724 drawings) a set of five winning numbers has been drawn twice 68 times. This combo ==> 6 18 22 23 32 was initially drawn on May 21st, 2008, and it was drawn for a second time on january 7th, 2022. This crazy thing which experts say should not happen not only happens in FF5 but it also has happened many times in many other states Pick5 games. In New York, one combo has been drawn three times, and in Massachusetts there is a winning five number combo that has also been drawn three times. It should not happen but it does and it happens a lot.
I have a daughter that was a math major in college. You should've heard her go off on me about me and my software back when I first bought it. So I asked her if a set of five winning numbers could be drawn twice. She said "I suppose it could happen, but that'd be such a fluke that it wont happen again in a million years." Imagine the look on her face when I showed her my software pointing out that it had happened over 50 times in New York's Take5. (It's now happened more than 70 times in Take5) I couldn't help but rub it in a little bit. "So why does that happen so much?" I asked. She said two words to me that I cant write here and walked away in a huff.
That's a cute story but it points out something to me. Although I've yet to win a jackpot in any Pick5 game anywhere, after playing
Pick5 games regularly for more than 15 years, after I bought the software I started winning many more three-baggers than lottery playing guys that I knew who did not have the software. Do yourself a favor and play smart. G5

Here's another thing that's bugging me....
After I've picked and settled upon a set of five FF5 numbers that I'm going to play, because my software does not have the capability for me to write a custom query and run it against FF5's history file, I've no idea if that set of five numbers I'm about to buy has ever been drawn before. Normally I wouldn't care too much if I discovered that the combo I'm gonna buy has in fact been drawn before. I bet I've unknowingly bought lots of lines that won a jackpot way back when. The reason I wouldn't care too much is because I know duplicate sets of five numbers have been drawn quite a bit. But I do think I would care if that line had been drawn three times in the past.
What's your guess on how many of the millions of FF5 lines The Florida Lottery sells each day have been drawn in a previous drawing? More than anybody thinks I'm sure.
I could try to manually scroll back through my softwares' history file and try to spot if the line I'm going to play has been drawn before, but that's crazy. Too hard to spot and too many five number combos to look at. So that is a big draw back of any software you can buy. G5

Had one 3 digit winner for $10.50 and several free tickets. Just once did I have 4 numbers on a ticket. I need to alter my dream if I win. Need some major dental work done so that will be first on my list.

The Singles Number Group has just 19 hits this month, but it historically averages 38 per month. With eight drawings left in August there is very likely going to be some drawings with two or three numbers from the Singles drawn. G5
As wrong as I was in the post above, The Singles Number Group has been awful for the last month or more. It had 27 hits in August and as of last night just 4 hits in September. That's way too low.
Sooner or later they'll start doing some hitting to "get caught up". I think that will start happening soon. #2 and #7 are the numbers in the Singles with the most hits in 2022, and right now #1 is out 31 draws. It's coming up on "the wall" of 35 draws skipped. I'd play those three numbers while mixing in the other Singles. Two or three Single digit numbers on one line might be a smart play. G5

That's a big negative you can run the (9)Companion pairs where you look for the quints etc... then down at the bottom the menu shows F4 let it load now enter 1 up to 5 numbers that you want to search for winners. I do it on the old Advantage Plus software I like it better that the newer version plus you can print it out. Good luck!

Thanks Mink. Didn't know that you're lurking in this thread!
Went into A+ and it worked just as you said it would. That's the first time I've gone into A+ in a very long time. As I was doing it, I remembered that I had done it years ago prior to upgrading to A Gold.
It's been almost two years since we moved to Florida. (We got here Nov 1st of 2020) At the time I thought (and wrongfully so) that I was going to be much better off playing FF5 than T5. (Lower odds to win a jackpot and the pay outs if you do hit a jackpot are much higher) I've hit just one four-bagger since being in Fla, and that came off a Free Ticket. (Florida's version of a Free Play) I've hit a fair amount of three-baggers, but I aint hit The Big Momma.
I'll keep playing FF5 until the day I'm either flat broke or my heart and lungs stopped workin'. Aint got much else to do anyway. Soon the leaves will turn for you, but not me. That sux big time. I heard through my relatives that The Hudson Valley and The A'Daks have been hot and DRY this past Summer. If I had the bucks, I'd have been up north somewhere for the entire Summer. Maybe in Mass, Vermont or New Hampshire. I'd like to hit VT this Fall but driving to Charlotte NC to see my daughters instead. Take care. Hit a T5 jackpot for me. G5

Well, after that drawing I'm still wrong about The Singles. Of course The Twenty's remain very strong.
Sum was 105, 2 odd/3 even, no repeater, four from the last 10, one adjacent - #28.
The following numbers have not hit in Sept; 1,5,6,7,9,16,19,23,24,26,31 & 32. #23 is in that group. #16 has been very hot this year (40 hits) I'd play them both on quite a few of my lines. G5

Here's a tidbit that might mean sumpthin' and might mean nuthin'.
There hasn't been a month since last June when any of FF5's 36 numbers went hitless. #21 did not hit in June. Usually in most months all 36 numbers hit at least once. Typically a couple times per year there will be a calendar month where a number doesn't hit. So far in 2022 there have been two months where a number went hitless. (May and June) So maybe in the next four months all 36 numbers will hit.
I know this info aint a whole helluva lot of help, but what I like to do is keep an eye on which numbers haven't hitafter the middle of the month. Usually (but not always) those are the numbers that are going to come out soon. G5
