Yup. They'll have to. The Covid vaccine clinical trials answered the questions of safety and efficacy but not whether an inoculated person can carry and transmit Covid. Saw on the news today, a couple of health care workers that got the vaccine tested positive a few days later.

From what they're saying the vaccine doesn't really do any good till about a good week after you get it.

Before you play there are 2 choices to make. Low sum or high sum and consecutive pair or no consecutive pair. Choose correctly and you go from 120 combos down to 30. Not a bad starting point.

It's that second shot (The BOOSTER shot) that is given two weeks after the first shot that really counts. BTW - I've read that second shot aint no walk in the park either.

Was reading today's Wall Street Journal. There's an informative article about how the elderly (especially those living in long term care facilities like nursing homes) are the hardest hit (meaning most fatalities) by Covid. That's why they are very high on the priority list for vaccination. If it was younger people that were dying in large numbers, then they'd be the ones high on the priority list, but they're not, therefore they aint.

So yes, while Covid has killed some perfectly healthy very young people, they are the exception, not the rule. Healthy young people who died from Covid will have Covid (and only Covid) written on their death certificates as the cause of death. It's Old Fogies like me that'll have "Severe Complications of Diabetes aggravated by Covid 19" written on mine. If I get Covid, it will be my diabetes that shuts down my pancreas and kidneys and kills me. If I don't get Covid, my diabetes will still eventually kill me, but thanks to insulin, not for quite a while yet. (Or so I hope!)

Of course, there is my wife, and depending upon how well I behave around her, all bets about the cause of my demise are off.... G5

Just to add to the above post...

Epidemiologists know from past experience with flu vaccines, those vaccines that are 65% effective do in fact allow people who got a flu shot to carry and transmit influenza. If a flu vaccine is 95% effective, then there is "no universe whatsoever that a person can carry and transmit that particular strain of the flu" to quote one doctor located in Arizona.

Both the Pfizer and Moderna Covid vaccines are 95% effective, but because they didn't study whether or not someone can carry/transmit Covid in the clinical trials, and there is not yet enough data to answer the carry/transmit question about Covid, even though they suspect people who got a Covid vaccination will not be able to carry/transmit Covid, they will err on the side of caution and require people to wear masks. Lovely! G5

U wouldn't be saying that if u or someone u give a dam is on your/their deathbed from Covid.

LOL. Yeah, we can substitute pecans for whatever is/has scrambled his brain. I use pecans because he seems to love them. Too much of anything is not healthy.

I'm a moderate conservative, but even more common sense conservative. If a mask helps to control a disease, common sense says to wear one. Unfortunately, this country has devolved into "screw everyone else, I'm going to do what I want". That is not how I was raised, and not how I raised my kids.
