  Has anyone already developed a study with only the pairs of twins in pick3?
  only with the 10 pairs 99.88 ....00, 10 pairs
  the pairs of have 3 positions in the pick 3= 1,2, 1,3 2,3
  the third digit be chosen with another study

  Any particular state/island/province you want to look at? What do you want to know? Whether there are fewer or more pairs than expectation? Whether they tend to cluster together? What else? Just wondering what you are interested to know.

  Expectation vs Actual 2021

  To get oriented, I compiled a list of every draw result from calendar year 2021 so far and took a look at them versus expectation. 

  So far this calendar year there have been 20,737 draws.

  Of those draws (by my quick count) there have been 6198 actual total twin pairs.

  Out of 1000 possible Pick 3 numbers, there are 300 twin pairs, so the expectation is that 3/10 of the draws will be twin pairs. 

  So how are we doing versus expectation?

  Expected = 20,737 * 0.3 = 6221.

  Actual = 6198.

  The actual numbers are so close to expectation that it's a little scary, but there are 1000 possible draw numbers and we have a sample size of 20,737 so the sample size is 20.7 times the size of the possible draw numbers. At that point, the expected statistics vs the actual should begin to converge and they certainly appear to be converging here.

  hello, parlayman  thanks for the study yes to another type of 10 pairs, eg so pairs = 0,2,4,6,8

  they are also odd / high / low, double mirror, we have where the 1st digit is even = 25 or 1st digit is odd 36, there are pairs of pairs by frequency 50% hot 5 medium digits 3 and 2 cold digits, a pair of appearance hot is two digits of the 50% group, alias how many pairs would we have?
