Hi Fun, solid win there on the $3 ticket. Another interesting FL compare...we have this except it's a $2 ticket. We used to have a $5 version too, which, if I recall correctly, had a double win symbol (might not recall exactly, as I didn't play it tons).

Hi Cape, Thanks for pointing out similarities in games between the 2 states its very interesting. I have played a $5 version in CA, the bonus is in the back of the ticket which im not a fan of. Hopefully CA steals that $2 version in the future, definetly my style.

Thanks for the support always, I've been on a losing streak and today just felt i had some scratching fatigue. Had a slow cashier redeem my tickets and it killed my scratching buzz for the day. Live to scratch another day. Hope you doing well and winning as well.

$200 + $500 win - My fav 200 symbol and that year of the tiger luck, i just scratched off one spot for $50 and convinced that was the win but scanned it for $500. Never give up scratch all your numbers

it happened again ! A while back I was at Publix heading to the ticket machine when an old guy and me almost collided to buy tickets .. I asked him to go first ..."age before beauty" :) ..... he bought ONE ticket, scratched it standing there while I bought a couple of the same game ... think it was the old 100X .... anyway he got a $1K claimer ..... my 3 were duds .....

This morning I'm at a different Publix near me ...... similar senario .... I'm walking this time to the counter to get a couple $50 ticks ......this old woman with a shopping bag walks to the counter and we almost bump into each other ... I let her go first ... she buys 2 $50 tickets and scratches them at the side of the counter while I buy one $50 ticket and 5 Madness ...... all of a sudden she hollers "I won $5K!" ........ I move over to where she is standing and ask gee whiz .. can I see it ? She holds the ticket tight with both hands..... sure enough ..... in the middle of the top row is a stand alone $5,000 ........ just like the one CAPE had, but in a different spot ...... she shows the clerk and askes to cash it .... he tells her she has to either drive to the Lot office in Tampa OR fill out a claim form and mail it in ..... she tells the clerk she is going to let her grandson help her figure this out ... meanwhile I advise her to SIGN and fill out the back side ........ to be safe

Lesson learned ? No more letting someone take my spot as a 'kindness gesture' ....... my tickets brought me one $10 on a Madness .....yeah ... age before beauty .......

Wow dude that's some rough luck. But you are building up some good karma, will pay off with a nice win soon.

If I had a similar story, it would be this. Last year, our Hit 5 jackpot got up to $1.5 million dollars and that's a $1 ticket with jackpot odds about 700,000 to 1. So it's a good play when the jackpot gets that high. So I decided to buy 20 tickets for $20. Well I don't know who won but the winning ticket ended up being sold at the exact machine I bought mine from. A few days later, I saw a sign above the machine --- This machine sold a $1.5 million hit 5 winner this week.

Hi Skeptic, its good to know there's good people out there, respecting elders . I'd take that kind of kindness you shown any day, so much hate in the world these days. You definetly deserve the top jackpot prize or the one below it, maybe they saving them for you by taking the smaller jackpots. I guess you got to live long too so when you get to there age that top prize hits*hopefully sooner though.

Did you give up scratching for the day after the 2nd time? I'd probably go to some random place with nobody playing and scratch a bit, gotta revenge that heartbreak someway. It sucks the most hearing about it, especially in your case. I rather not hear it at all.

Other than that i enjoy a good scratch session story, thank you for sharing, waiting for a good ending next time. If you were second before them go ahead n buy, i wont judge you either way.

Yesterday, I go to my regular spot and i dont know if im starting to show up on some ban list or something becuase i always get a weird look from the cashiers before im buying. I usually redeem about 5-10 tickets and as i was waiting in line, they make eye contact and say the ticket redemption is down. So plan B i gotta use cash, i use 100 bill, i spend about $50, They sell me with an upset look. I go back for round 2 with another 100 bill, kind of just to mess with them as well, but they got me first they flipped over the sign and i knew they weren't going to sell tickets no more. I took it personal maybe its tied to the machine being down or they randomly stop selling for a couple hours in a day. I've seen it before at this place before they usally say they'd open it after an hour. Ruined my scratch session. Times like this they should just add a ticket machine so they don't have to sell in person or do both. It wasn't all bad though, I hit $100
