The timing is so SUS. It happens on election day eve, it happens on 11/7-11/8 full moon, largest jackpot in world history, the fact this has NEVER happened during the previous 40 rollovers of this current jackpot, the fact that I've been playing for 3 years, seen a couple billion dollar jackpots, AND this STILL NEVER HAPPENED?? I feel it's a sign for things to come..... i also believe this 41st drawing of the current jackpot may be a record for Powerball but I need to double check this

NOBODY needz an hour + to count and verify money in today'z COMPUTER Age..Maybe naah, enough of you will outrageously write to your Elected Congressional Officialz in Washington to DEMAND Federal oversight of such rampant corruption...

MUSL haz blamed the unprecedented delay on a single participating State,..but you kNoW they gotta blame SoMeBoDy..but then again it may've been another attempt of some State LO to rig their resultz to match whut the actual drawing resultz were BEFORE submitting their tally..

I think a Power Ball Boycott is in order after this screw up.

List Pick 3 singles by low sums, high sums. Separate each sum row by consecutive pair and non consecutive pair combos. These 3 pair groups. 14 17 47, 25 28 58, 36 39 69 are in 63 combos. 54 combos do not have them. Which sums do the 3 pair groups appear and not appear? Look at root sum groups 147, 258, 369. Play accordingly.

I've no idea what the problem is or what's even going on with it.

If it's a dataprocessing problem (A computer crashed because it was overwhelmed with the volume/amount of data which is a very common reason for computers go down) they will need quite a bit of time to restore it to the state it was at prior to crashing - especially if it's a mainframe.

I worked for IBM for 32 years inside one of the largest datacenters in the world. I was heavily involved with something called Disaster Recovery which is the restoration of any type of computer that may have been destroyed because it sat inside a datacenter that was completely destroyed by an environmental disaster such as a hurricane or a fire. I can tell you that it takes at least 48 hours to bring up a mainframe to a point where is is running exactly like it did prior to being destroyed. Smaller computers like mid-frames take less time to restore, but it'll still take the better part of one day to get it back.

Add to the above that many machines run out of date (antiquated) software and the hardware itself is very old which probably means the software and hardware to restore the machine is no longer commercially available. Ran into that problem many times with various IBM customers that had a machine go down. Try telling them their machine cant be restored and that they need to buy a whole new multi-million dollar mainframe, and see what happens to you when you tell them that. The words "Are you effing CRAZY??" spring to my mind quite easily.

Is it a DP/IT related problem causing the delay? I dunno. It might be. But rest assured all kinds of lottery executives at the location where the problem exists are all over the poor fool that's trying to fix it. G5

Of course they have made enough money to replace it. That don't mean they're actually gonna do it.

I saw many IBM customers that made BILLIONS in profit running the oldest and cheapest crap they could find. "Gotta cut costs. Keep the shareholders happy." was what I was told when I suggested that they really need to think about upgrading to newer software and hardware.

"If that old iron of yours goes down you'll probably have a whopper of a problem on your hands" is what I'd say. They'd say "We'll risk it."

You would not believe the condition of the hardware and software executing in some of the datacenters of the richest companies on the planet. State Lottery offices are no different. They're all cheap. G5
