Ideas for what might be the best strategy? Got the lotto bug again after like almost 15 years without playing. Never had probs in the past just wasn't on my mind. Decided recently to "oh what the hell" it.

Burned through about $200 so far. Mostly draw games in FL (Lotto and Fantasy 5 mostly). Not really into MM or PB - the odds just make my head hurt. I bought three $10 scratch off like a week ago and have yet to scratch them lol.

Was considering getting a "book" of $10 Gold Rush Doubler. Chickened out though. Was up at the counter, store had a book, but just couldn't pull the trigger.

Thought maybe I'd ask you guys for advice before I commit the rest of the money. There is no real timeline. Took over a month to spend the $200.

I figured if I'm going to play a bit, might as well lean into it.

Ok, a bit condescending.

I'll rephrase so it doesn't trigger anyone else's "I want to be the wise one coming down from the mountain sharing life wisdom" reflex.

Looking for "suggestions". What would do with a 1k budget?

Promise to not hold anyone accountable if I use the suggestion and lose.

The best advice that I can give you is not to play the jackpot games or the scratch offs.

My advice:

Don't take web strangers' advice about spending your money.
1) They are strangers, 2) its your money, and 3) they have nothing to lose by trying to get it.

That said, I find it a good idea to have a pot set aside if I want to play. (Swear jar money, mad money, sh--s and giggles money, whatever you choose)

Pick and choose your spots. And when you don't play, toss the money you would have spent in the jar.

Then at some point, take it, go out, buy something for yourself, the family, or the kids. Take a day trip or invite some friends to a backyard bar-b-q.

Whatever you do, don't take advice from strangers when it comes to your money.

If you have a system or playing strategy you thought about trying, now might be the time. It might win you a few bucks.

Hi Brazen,

Back in the day when I was tending bar our lottery agent would bring us the scratch off tickets before we opened for lunch always giving us a chance to chat at length. He told me the secret to scratch offs was to buy a sleeve. Meaning buy ten or twenty tickets straight away. He said typically there is a winner every 4th or 6th ticket.

I began convincing the guys eating their burgers and downing a beer at lunch to 'buy a sleeve' and they were either taking the money, or buying more tickets with what they won. They was hardly ever a loser.

You might want to check in with your Florida lottery online and see what scratch offs are new and what prizes are left and buy the ones that appeal to you.

Pardon my intrusion, but I did a snoop of your profile, I see your a Leo by Sign Sun. Leo's are typically very Lucky. 149° would be a good number for you, its actually your Sun Number if you were born early in the day before the Sun moved into Virgo---if by chance you are a Virgo the number would change to be 150°. Either way,

You could even use that number 149° or 150° as a compass bearing from your home. Example image below: Meaning draw a line out from your home at that compass bearing and see if moves over stores where you could purchase your tickets. You could easily use the ruler in Google Earth to draw a 149° line vector outwards from your home to see where it heads and buy your tickets there.

If there are no lottery store near this line, you could trine the line into the two alternatives being 269° or 049° with would form 120° angles to your Sun from your home. These two lines would represent the trine from Aries and Sagittarius to your Sun.
